  • Bargain. I have one of their 58 bottle fridges, hasn't missed a beat. This looks a little fancier for under bench installation, sliding shelves, etc.

Nice. Time to showcase my stockpiles of Pepsi and fanta

    • hey if you can afford “brand name links like pepsi, fanta coca cola drinks” instead of generic cola or orange pop, etc flash the bling ….. but we know what you keep in the other fridge and serve by the glass to guests with the excuse “i put it into a glass with ice cubes for you”.

  • Got one of these via price match via Appliances Online as JB's delivery area / stock was limited. There also seems to be limited stock around Sydney but looks like a decent deal.

    • Just tried to price match with Appliances Online via live chat and they refused as below cost price. Was this via their phone line?

      • Yeah, called them up and they were fine.

        • It took 3 attempts, but eventually got someone who was willing to price match. Also tried Harvey Norman but they took from Saturday afternoon til this morning to respond on live chat…

  • I could only count 30 bottles of wine in the photo

    How does it fit 54

    • Image on the Harvey Norman site demonstrates 8 per shelf and 6 on the bottom if you 'alternate' the direction the bottle faces

    • A lot of the newer wine fridges (including the 121 bottle I bought recently) are a bit deeper than the original 580mm (usually around 680mm deep), so they have a longer (front to back) shelf and "can" fit a row with the bottle bottoms facing the door, and a row (usually 1 bottle less) on the same shelf at the back with the necks facing the door.

The catch is that this only works with a certain type of bottle because the bottle necks from the front and back row have to sort of interlock with each other. If you have some longer bottles then it doesn't work.

It took me quite a while with lots of trial and error to arrange the bottles to get 120 bottles into my 121 bottle fridge.

I still have the older 58 bottle Hisense (for about 2 years now) and it hasn't missed a beat. With some careful stacking I have got 60 bottles into it. It is quite a bit taller than this 54 bottle model though.
