The Singleton Malt Master's Selection Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml $50 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Liquorland

100

It looks like flybuys promotion has changed after posting. Now it is 3000 points for $100 spend.

$50 is kind of everyday price. But combine with ‘spend $50 get 3000 flybuys points and 10% SB upsize cashback will make it a decent deal.

Enjoy!

A bottling that's a perfect introduction for those who are new to single malts, the Singlton of Dufftown Malt Master's Selection was created by The Singleton master of malts Craig Wilson.Matured in a combination of refill, Sherry and Bourbon casks, with a greater proportion of refill to allow ‘the sweet yet refined distillery character to shine through’. The whisky, bottled at 40% abv, promises a ‘slightly sweeter’ take on the classic Speyside style used by the Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old.

I don't recommend this. It starts off a bit sweet and goes down ok but on the backend is a ridiculous amount of spiciness that is not pleasant.

    • Can you recommend one that sweet, smooth, no metallics taste, no peat smokey, and no spiciness.
      Thanks.

I'd say Dalwhinnie 15yo. Its smooth, no peat, slightly sweet.

its on special at Amazon for $85 ($110 at Uncle Dan)

        • Thanks. Put that on watching list.
          85 at dan, members price

          • @CyberMurning: I don't recommend the Dalwhinnie either. Has a harsh aftertaste as well that I would describe as a smokey leathery taste that I don't like, I got a bottle as a gift and it's been hard to get through it. Very generic tasting scotch too…..If you want smooth and sweet with no harsh taste I recommend a bottle of Writers Tears, it's an Irish whisky that is buttery smooth with no harshness. • Did anyone manage to get screen shot for $50 3000 Bonus Points
