After a worldwide Multiplayer Reveal on Tuesday September 7, get ready to experience the Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta! This will be held over two weekends: from Friday September 10 to Monday, September 13, and Thursday, September 16 to Monday, September 20.

The first weekend ā€“ September 10 to September 13 ā€“ will be for PlayStation owners who have pre-ordered the game.

The second weekend will be considered an Open Beta in its entirety for PlayStation owners. Those on other platforms will need to pre-order the game to access the first two days of the Beta (September 16 and 17), before it becomes an Open Beta for all platforms from Saturday, September 18 to Monday, September 20 at 10 AM PT.

          He doesn't, Xbox has the exact same access as PC since Sony paid money for exclusivity for COD years ago.

          He's just trying to cause an argument.

      This is normal for activision, They release a new game every year and they generally always change developers every title also.
      Its why the game is highly rated in Modern Warfare/Warzone thru out 2019 but then felt like a whole new game when Black Ops came out in 2020.

      The same will be for Vanguard its made by Sledgehammer games, So many people I know bought Black Ops and then filed for Steam refunds as they had sunk to much time into Warzone and just hated on how different it felt when they would flip between the titles.

      Id say most people will hold off on the new Vanguard and just go for BF2042 they at least run the same title for a longer period.

        Yeah Modern Warfare 2019 was actually great. It felt good and everything looked nice and game play was really fun on Warzone. Soon as Cold War came out, the game quickly shifted away from what made it a good game and it felt like they dropped all support for the old game and just deliberately allowed it to go to crap. Didn't bother with it anymore. It's left such a bad taste in our mouths that our friend group that plays this is giving this a skip and going straight to Battlefield 2042.

        After years of not playing CoD, Modern Warfare 2019 brought me back in. Still play till today, awesome game.

    Tried the alpha on the weekend…. I wanted to like it but it's not great.

    Hopefully the Beta isn't just Champion Hill again and lets us play TDM or something…

      Yeah Iā€™m hoping so. Saturday had duos and Sunday had duos and trios so it was expanded even during the Alpha.

      Betas are usually TDM, Dom and a new game mode which is probably Champion Hill.

        Champion Hill (Solos, Duos, Trios)
        Team Deathmatch
        Domination
        Kill Confirmed
        Patrol (Kicking off Saturday of Weekend 1)
        Search and Destroy (Weekend 2)

        I guess I'll try it again but I'll be skipping Champion Hill. The mode is a dud.

    Warzone has completely fallen off my radar… I wonder if this will breathe new life into it. Having said that, Cold War was the worst thing that ever happened to WZ so I doubt it.

    Hopefully not Champion Hill again as I totally didnt enjoy it. I enjoyed Cold War's beta more than this Alpha which shows how bad it was.

    played this today on the ps5, its even more sweaty than mw19 and cold war lmao.

    visibility is so shit man, and this is after they supposedly remove some effects to improve visibility from last week already…

      I'll be honest… it's not as sweaty as Cold War's beta (that was horrendous). However, Squad spawning is the dumbest thing ever implemented. SnD on this game is actually good.

        lmao too true about squad spawning, say goodbye to spawn killing if theyre keeping it. Too many times i have ran into a group of 3+ players coming out of spawn and getting mauled down with thompsons.
