Came across this deal while shopping around for a 32" TV. Bing Lee Alexandria has it marked down to $529 (RRP $849). Cheaper if you negotiate. Didn't get a photo of it. But there were 2 boxes left on showroom floor at closing (Thursday night).

I guess this deal is only for people who have space constraints.

  • I know this has 100hz

but i'd rather pay around $550 for Sony 40 EX520 at JB

    40inch !!!!! 40 inch!!!!

    • +2

I know 40" is the same price
but this one use different panel which is better
      IPS!!!!! IPS!!!!

      • I don't know if you really need IPS for these since VA panels do a pretty good job as it is. I seriously wouldnt want to use this as my main monitor.

      • *double post

  • Will it good for gaming PC? response time?

    • +1

Yes, it is supposed to be good. Read the reviews on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-VIERA-TC-L42E30-42-Inch-1080…

Does anyone know of a good deal on the 42" model?

    • Pannys are among the best in input lag performance, usually 5-15ms depending if used on gaming mode/ IFC 100hz off. Compare that to some others with 100-180ms input lag.

  • Ha ha. When we went to flat panel we couldn't go this big - it would have been too big for our tiny loungeroom. lol It's a damn good buy though.

  • Anyone know how good the black levels are on this sucker?

  • I want a cheap 32" TV with dlna and youtube. Any ideas?
The tv will be on the wall without a stand so media boxes are out of question.

    • Make that two of us.
