That's what he wrote in the first sentence? Amazon prime members get free delivery instead of having to go out + subscribe and save discount. It's a good deal for prime members.

      • Correct. Chemist warehouse is now equal to covid warehouse.

which part of "Amazon price match Chemist Warehouse on Swisse Vitamin D capsules" do you not understand?

  • Thank you OP.

Different brand, but same unit price. Any advantage of the Swisse over the Cenovis?

    • No advantage really.

I personally have found the capsules of oil (Swisse) absorb more effectively. I know this because I had a wart on my hand that didn't go away until I switched to the oil filled capsules. Make sure you take K2 with it for proper absorption.

      • What's K2?

        • Vitamin k2

  • Awesome.
    Thanks OP.

  • I am finishing a can from Costco (500 pills). Anyone remember the price there?

  • Great for all the people turning into Snow White because they are working from home, seeing sunlight for minutes each day. Nice one OP for thinking of them.

Don't forget to pick up some K2 vitamin for proper absorption. Your body can't do a lot with synthetic vitamin D with out some K2 in the equation. Vitamin D acts more like a hormone than a vitamin in your body. It's best to take this in the morning with breakfast so you don't disrupt your natural sleep cycle. Taking these at night would be confusing for several processes that occur to get you ready for sleeping. I find that I can take these with K2 on an empty stomach and it's all good.

    • Your advice seems to go against all the normal recommendations for vitamin D

It's a fat soluable vitamin, absorption is best with a fatty meal

Regular dosage builds up in your fat tissue, timing is so irrelevant you can take 7x the dose, once a week and achieve the same effect.

Perhaps the effect you are noticing is due to the vitamin K2 you are taking

      • I had problems with sleep taking D3 in the evening as well, found it works much better for me having it in the morning with a meal. Different bodies may work different though, try & see what works best for you.

      • from google "Is vitamin K2 really necessary? Our bodies need calcium to build and maintain bones. When it breaks down calcium in our bodies, vitamin K2 activates a protein that helps the mineral bind to our bones to do its job. While research is ongoing, studies show a higher K2 intake improves bone density and reduces the risk of bone fractures"

    • Any recommendations for d3+k2 ?

I take 2 caps of Swisse (2000iu) with 1 cap of microgenics K2 (180 mcg) I got at chemist warehouse daily.

Better to get 5000 IU from iherb…. if you can't source it from natural means.
