Not a blanket code, but works on a number of selected blankets.

  • Thanks OP, order's in.

  • +15

Bombay Sapphire is all year round essential

    • If you have tried beefeater, you know how true this is

    • Tanqueray ten is my go to, but sapphire is also I nice drop.

      • to be honest I am suffering through severe jin denial

switched to Fiji spiced rums months ago and can't even remember what a good jin tastes like

I could sure go for a bottle of rum right now. shiver me timbers

    • Any idea what the east variant is like?

  • +1

Diplomatico reserva rum gift pack for 84 dollars seems to be good value
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/284323653860?hash=item423302a8e4

    • not sure about this one, I am not sure if the cups are worth that much tbh.

never been to impressed by "gift" glasses

    • I was pretty disappointed in this rum, but others seem to like it.

      • dnt suppose you've tried zacapa 23 and can compare the two? I'm the fence- reviews on diplomatico are quite positive

        • +1

Imho, they are similar. Both are on the sweeter side for rums. So if you like one, you should like the other. However, the aged ones ( XO) have a much better balance, but are more expensive.

          • +1

@h2g2: I feel If I ever sprang for the XO I'd just leave it on the bar for display, wouldnt even drink it as I'm too much of a tightarse.

            • +1

@Jimothy Wongingtons: Same here. I am one of the fortunate ones to have a slightly increased savings due to WFH. So, with the lockdowns and all the booze deals thanks to ozbargain, I am now able to splurge a little occasionally.

    • I got 4 bottles of this for free once, it’s good shit

  • +1

Thanks, got the gin… (not for me, I'm still getting through the last 2 ebay bottles).

    • +5

suuuuuure they're not for you :P

      • Coping mechanism for lockdowns? I'm not judging, a good deal is a good deal.

I picked up some Capt. Morgan Black Rum last time Booze Bros had their ebay sale (and a couple of bottles of Butterscotch Schnapps when Hairydog had their sale too) to… restock the bar.

      • +1

Well I can't resist a deal this good, so just texted extended family members for interest, and ordered with shipping to my sister's place :)

  • +3

    Any search link?

  • +1

Good price for a litre of Sapphire.

Still have the bottles of Forty spotted to get through.

  • This East gin has additional flavours of lemongrass and Vietnamese pepper compared to regular Bombay sapphire. Never tried it but waiting on others opinions??

    • +4

I'd rate it slightly above standard 40% Bombay. Star Of Bombay> Bombay Sapphire 47.3%> Bombay East> Bombay Sapphire 40%.

      Yeah I'm a drunk.

  • Which one will be 120 off?

    • +1

Follow the link ….. Robot Vac, exercise bike, blow up pool …. all $120 off …. though I'd be checking how legit the discount is :)

      • To quote a famous brand… "Jack Lives Here"

  • Thanks OP. 3 bottles in the bag! :P

    • +2

      Code can be used 50times..

      • +2

already bought 3 x 1L bourbon last week + now these ….. I'll be pickled for gawd knows how long!

  • How can one know which items are eligible?

    • +1

I had this exact argument with Ebay on a number of their sales as I found several items that didn't show up in their own sale search that a previous code, when applied in cart, worked.

Told them straight a few times, fix your searches and your checkout 'cause there's so many times codes don't show up (or your $5 ebay plus code only shows and you can't see whatever other codes until you test checkout).

Going to rate their ebay iOS app 1 * shortly as can't apply ebay plus codes in cart on mobile app as they don't show up anywhere.

  • How's the Bombay compared to Four Pillars??

    • Bombay is a classic gin, well.l reviewed.

    • Bombay has and will always be the good quality mid-high end gin.
      Four pillars is niche quality.

TBH i couldn't taste the difference.

Although i know my wallet cries less with Bombay.

      • The Four Pillars is so good, I only drink it neat.

        • Four pillars is a small batch gin, you can taste the Botanics.

Bombay makes a good gin, but again it depends on how you are drinking it

People forget, a good mixer is equally important. Drinking either with a $1 mixer from Coles won't be the same as drinking these with fever tree.

          • @abs898: Which tonics would you recommend?

            • +1

@elektron: Strangelove and fever tree. Some really good flavours depending on what kind of a drink you are making

              • @abs898: Thanks. Just for the classic G&T. I've never even heard of these - where do you normally buy them from?

                • +1

@elektron: You can get Fever tree from any store, they are about $7 for 4 small bottles. I would say grab FT Mediterranean tonic, add some rosemary and some lime, you can thank me later for that

                • +1

@elektron: Coles Woolies, Dan Murphy, almost everywhere in their premium aisle.

  • +1

With $1.50 Cash Back from eBay gift cards and using $30 in CB rewards, brought it to $13.45 for 1L of gin. Thx OP.

  • +2

Nothing screams "Spring" more than hard liquor

  • It doesn't drop to 44.95 per bottle for me with the SEPPLUS code. I am trying to get 5 bottles.. any help why please ??

    • +4

      The code is PLUSSEP

      • +4

Looks like they've already been on the bottle haha

    • +3

you will also require to do 1 at a time.

    • +2

      Username does NOT check out

  • it looks like only booze is popular, lol

  • I get the discount price now but a message "A seller made some changes to an item listing." appears and transaction doesn't go thru :-(

    • +1

      Try it again.

    • +1

Keep pressing Pay button and it will go through

    • Yeah, I kept clicking and got $35 off the gin but the discount has been changed to $12 off now.

    • Yeah I got the message too then tried again and it went through the 2nd time.

  • anyone find any bourbon deals ?

  • How do I get out of the error "this item doesn't post to australia" ?

    • Oh, on phone the above is what it says. On PC it says "doesn't post to state Regional" …….. :|

      • Yet another issue with their app (that and can't see your monthly ebay plus codes on checkout - at least I can't on iOS)

        • Android is the same. It's terrible.

How hard can it be to provide the info we can see on the my ebay summary Web page? 🤦‍♂️

It's like they don't want you to know what offers you are eligible for!

  • Thanks, ordered Gin

  • +1

Sapphire gin keeps disappearing then shows up again but then can’t complete transaction…

    • Keep trying. I managed to purchase one after trying for 5mins.

  • Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again.
^ on any of the deals, anyone know why

    • It most likely boils down to the settings in your account.

To apply the coupon, you need to contact eBay Live Chat and request a review of your account and ask the representative to transfer the properties to be an eBay.com.au eBay account as the account may have been made in a different region originally and can't be used for some purchases.

  • Wow, many thanks for the heads up OP ..
Haven't tried this specific Bombay variety … at $45 for a litre- Willing to try with two bottles.

  • UMIDIGI Uwatch2S 1.3'' looks good at $24.99? Any feedback from the existing users!!!

    • +1

I have UMIDIGI watch but its a different version. I don't use it anymore as it wasn't user friendly and not show the time all the time. this one may be different. overall i am not fan of UMIDIGI brand.

  • Dam, wanted a couple of badminton racquets, but hard to find via this search. Will get the gin and be happy, cheers OP! :)

    • please let me know if you find any of those rackets! I could only see Wilson/tennis ones

      • A quick google search shows better prices at other retailers, so will go there instead.

    • They usually go for $70…but without delivery though

  • Thanks, OP. My eBay Plus membership expired a while ago, but the gin was enough for me to sign up again for $9 (when taking into account the $40 voucher - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/644654). Unfortunately couldn't combine the $40 voucher with this coupon, but I'm sure I'll spend it on something over the next year! edit Dang - have only 30 days to spend the voucher…. need to start hunting.

    • That exact same thing happened to me. Couldn't use that voucher on an eBay deal I wanted. Ended up getting one of those xiaomi electric tyre pumps for $55.

  • Cant say no to an expensive gin at duty free price! specially at times when you dont have access to duty free :D
    Thanks OP!

  • +1

Ebay Garage sell is on. Here we go!
