Ordered last night and already received SMS and being dispatched from Sydney in the morning via Startrack.
Fails at verifying account for me. You must need to be an 'Active" telstra customer.
Buy the cheapest thing in the store and see if it works

You don't need to. If you already have a Telstra account you can just press "Outright" and then scroll down to the bottom and press "Next" under the Review your Selections area. Then press Continue only with this item and it'll work.
Done this like 10-15 times. Keeps saying "cannot verify, something went wrong". :(

Just ordered the S21 Ultra 256gb in black outright without a monthly plan.
As a first step I logged into my Telstra account and then clicked on the "Shop" link from the page and then found the device. It asks you to select a plan but you can get to the next page without doing so.
After this it took a few tries after adding to cart to go to the next page. Every time I got an error I hit the back button, went back to cart which was now empty, hit back again to go to the shop, selected the device and tried again. Eventually got to enter my ID details (they need that for delivery) and the order process from that point on was smooth.
Have got an order confirmation email and the charge is reflected on my credit card.

Mine just went through for 128gb after several attempts. 256gb was back order so figured more chance of them cancelling. Might dispatch the 128gb before they notice hopefully

Everytime I try link my driver's to create account and go next, it says "something went wrong " and whole page crashes
Optus matched the price of an Ultra 128GB on a $55 plan over 24 months.
Fist chat person refused to match, second chat person happy to do the deal and completed it all during the chat, I'm an existing Optus customer.
After the first chat failed to get the deal I tried to do it via Telstra, but the process failed and I went back to Optus and got the deal done.Any assistance on a case to use please?

Did someone try to get price beat from office works?
I did try and they said the offer clearly states it needs to have a plan with it hence they cannot price match.
I tried once in the morning, but by the time they answered the phone, ultra was in backorder and they refused to match. Later in the afternoon ultra was back in stock, but office works said the phone must be bought together with the plan and they would not match it.

Hey same as whats said above. Get a 2 dollar sim and register it on another email id. Then activate and login using the telstra app. In the app there is a link to see the Telstra day deals, use that link to proceed to order. Worked fine for me.

Me she is very nice.I managed to order the S21 256GB for me and 128GB for my wife yesterday using a Telstra account I got years ago with a $2 sim card. Both phones have been dispatched. Expected delivery is Saturday.
Hopefully with so many people ordering S21s, there will be many posts with discounted wireless chargers etc. I've looked at a few. Difficult to know which one is best. Ozbargain will decide for me no doubt.
