    12% or 20%?

  • -1

    Website still showing 5% under $80, 12% over $80

    • +6

20% cashback starts at 2pm AEST for 6 hours, .2-8pm AEST

  • +1

Looks like I need 20% cashback and a free pizza https://bws.com.au/productgroup/Jameson-pizza-offer

    • premix is expensive, over $5 a can, bugger

    • Any sweet jameson for beginners?

      • Well usually any premix with cola is pretty sweet but otherwise just get the basic bottle and mix to your taste - Coke, dry, lemonade or soda.

  • +2

nice - down to my last can of coopers green so perfect timing

Edit - $57 is a bit punchy BWS

    • +2

      2 for $100 though

      • +3

2 for $80 after cashback. Not a bad price.

        • Don't forget the $4.80 return and earn if you're in NSW

          • +4

@nosytt: I live in Sydney and Return and Earn has been unavailable for 10 weeks and counting. Such a joke

            • +3

@FrankKay: Yeah it's kicking my ass. Spent 1-2 hours organising 2-3 months of the house's empties last weekend. Re-open em!

    • Hmm… I guess

Was going to top up the spirits cabinet. 48 cans of Coopers is a lot to keep in good condition

      • Challenge Accepted! 🍻

    • the Sparkling Ale isn't that much more

    • +1

Actually the Sparkling is the same price as the Green

      https://bws.com.au/product/75023/coopers-sparkling-ale-375ml

  • Single use, or multiple?

When it's 12%< can you use gift cards?

    • +3

      Hi Adelv,
So as per the terms, using any gift cards at BWS will invalidate cashback at any time, not just for the promotion. Just a reminder too that the cap is $60 in total per Cashrewards account, so this means you can purchase more than once which is great, but once the combined cashback total hits $60, that will be your cashback limit.
      hope that helps : )
      minita

      • Yeah, just have to hit that $80 min spend.

  • +1

guessing it wont stack with 10% off for new users code?

  • +3

Check your Everyday Rewards for a booster also:
Collect 1500 points when you spend $60 or more in-store or online at BWS until Sunday, 5 September.

    • Mine is only 800pts

      • 1000 pts for $90 spend for me. Not good enough

        • +2

          Better than nothing

    • Cheers, 1000 for $80+

So ~$63 for 1lr Kraken hmm

  • I knew this would happen before fathers day, sweet.

  • +1

thank you OP- have items in my cart ready to go

    • Unless sells out at 12% uncapped before hand 😂

    • +2

Pre- filling a cart is risky. Cashback at the 2-6pm time frame might not count.

I load up a cart on one computer, then do the actual purchase later on another.

  • I hate the BWS website, the search function is not user friendly. First Choice and Dan Murphys much better.

    • +1

Dan Murphys the best. First Choice the same as Liquorland

  • -1

Is there any CR reps which can be tagged to answer questions?

  • Anybody here have tried Wakachangi beer ? Any thoughts ?
It's at $10 for six pack in BWS and $16 at Dan Murphys.
Thinking of trying that one this evening.

  • +1

When Shopback have this promotion they don't include GST in the $80 spend (so you effectively have to spend $88).

Can any Cashrewards rep confirm if that's the case here too?

Edit: Just found the answer myself on the Cashrewards page. It includes GST.. much clearer than Shopback.

  • +2

Dimple 12 is showing as $40 for me - minus cashback makes it $32 and a genuinely good bargain.

    • Is dimple sweet?

      • It's the best value drop in that price bracket, comparable with Chivas Regal I think.

      • +1

Amazon have the 15YO for $55 delivered via Prime - trust me dude, once you've had the 15YO, you'll never drink anything else

Its $55 here too so just remove $11 from the price - $44 Dimple 15YO - yay

        • @office solution
How can you remove 11? Minimum spending is 80

    • Amazon have the 15YO for $55 delivered via Prime - trust me dude, once you've had the 15YO, you'll never drink anything else

Spend the extra $15 - its worth it 15YO Dimple is the nicest blended scotch I've ever had.

  • to get the full 60 bucks back how much would you need to spend on the 20% back? exc gst etc… morning brain for me :(!

    • +1

      $300

    • $300

  • Yay! Let's drink!

  • -1

Is the 12% now uncapped seperate than the 20% cashback?

So I can do orders via both? $60 cap via 20% and another uncapped via 12%?

    • +2

      Hi Adelv,
      Yes, of course. : )
Uncapped 12% now, then 2-8pm 20% capped, then 12% uncapped again until midnight (AEST).
(provided you spend over $80 each time, else you get 5%)
      go nutz!
      minita

      • Thank you
Multiple orders on the 12% uncapped?

  • +2
    • +1

      Maybe its 4 for $86

  • Does BWS provide direct to boot service?

  • I worked out I could order 2 x 30 can TUN Bitter blocks plus 1 x TUN Mid for $108 pick up then take off 20% to bring price down to $86.40
Thats less than the magical $1 a can

    • +1

      But you're drinking Tun?!

      • +1

I couldt stand it (TUN Bitter) initially but then I got used to it - now I like it - made in Belgium dude

        thumbs up

I havent tried the MID before so wish me luck on my new journey of TUN mid strength discovery

  • +1

woooo it's been awhile since we had decent CB at bws

  • +1

Grrrrr, my order is dead on $80, guess I'll have to order more !
Orders $80.01 and over (including GST, excluding delivery) = 20%

    • +1

Buy that wine droplet stuff that neutralises the sulphites - i thinks its called Real Wine and costs about $2.30 at BWS
Really helps with the red wine sore head thing the next day - all those sulphites banging around in your cranium for 24 hours ouch

  • well, thats this weekend of lockdown sorted

  • I am unable to pay for my order. Tried credit card and pay pal.
Error message on BWS site is that payment declined.
With Pay pal - transaction hits my pay pal and get refunded straight away. Credit card - transaction gets charged as pending and nothing happens.

    Weird

    • mine went straight through

  • +2

Another benefit of the TUN is you can start on something decent like Heineken or Kroenenburg then get onto the TUNs
Because once you're half cut it doesnt really matter whether or not the beer is premium
I know this because me and a mate were really drunk after coming back from the pub and drank his mums bottle of wine
We found out the next day we'd drunk the only bottle of grange she had in her collection…….

Took me a month to pay her back

  • Any shiraz or similar recommendations around $20? Looking to try some new stuff

    • Look at their Wine Clearance section, you can normally find some already discounted 50%

    • +3

Pepperjack is easily the best at 2 for $30 (rarely below $16/bottle even at Dan/Costco/1stC).

Riddoch is delicious, but it's the 2018 so will need another 2yrs.

Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz is good for $18 & 2016 is drinkable now.

I still reckon the 2017 Pensilva Shiraz at Liquorland/First Choice is outstanding value for $10/bottle (easy beats those in the $15 range & unlike most is actually drinkable now)

    • +1

Stay right away from the Aldi $2.99 Precious Earth stuff - its utterly ghastly - perfect for when the in-laws come around

      • There is drinkable cheap wine (eg Lachlan Ridge) but $3 Aldi wine bottles are so bad

  • -2

sapporo was 46 bucks at 1pm now $50…..dogs.

    • It depends on your location that you have selected. If you have a VIC or TAS postcode entered it will be $46 because there is no container refund scheme. If you chose any other postcode, it'll be $50.

Another reason it might not show $46 is if you're not logged in with a linked everyday rewards card as the $46 price requires that.

  • I ordered some Monkey Shoulder and the Johnie Walker Islay blend.

BWS order confirmation email 2.19pm, Cashrewards tracking email received 2.30pm

  • +1

    Thanks OP, bought 48

    (beers)

  • +3

Website is getting a hammering right now.
    So slow!

    • yeap it is extremely slow on my end as well

  • I wish after you've used the $60 cap, it just went to 12%

  • +1

    Websites fooked.

  • +1

    BWS website unusable.

  • +3

Yo Woolies BWS, 1997 called and wants its' dial up modem and internet speed back.

  • +1

    Pathetic website. Can't do anything

  • +1

    wow it's unusable right now

  • is it just me or dan murphy is smashed too? a big weekend

  • If only we could use the app. Epic fail

  • +2

Took about 30min but managed to place an order. thanks OP

edit: also had 1100 points on $110 spend in woolies rewards

    • Using points will result in your cashback being declined, no?

  • +1

Must be a lot of traffic right now?

  • Can't load via the Cashrewads app

    • +1

Can't even get into my BWS account via CR.

      Giving up. Lost the will.

Gonna make myself a cocktail and wait for Liquorland / First Choice cashback.

      • +2

Yep pretty much. First Choice website always stands up to cashback traffic perfectly.

    • -1

      Revoked my upvote as well.

      Lol

  • +2

This lil BWS website NOT HAVING A GOOD TIME

  • +2

not going anywhere on the BWS website for the past 20mins +

  • I should have ordered earlier, grrrrr… Is this a tactic to stop people using the 20% cashback?, surely their site cant be crashed by Cashreward people?

    • +1

Probably a mixture of that, Friday night bevs, and Fathers Day shopping

  • $60 cap?

  • Website is back up and running.
