      • That's my current favourite Sudoku app - well featured, user interface that suits me, large range of puzzles up to way beyond my abilities, free (but with an ad in between games - so not too intrusive).

        • Yeah, I tried a few Sodoku games, nothing compares to the interface and functionality of this one.

Hello flyerone, if you could also add this to your thread, it should merge well for the users who are interested in the initial version.

"5400 puzzles" these will be randomly computer generated, and hence not much fun. Hand-crafted puzzles are infintely more enjoyable to solve as they generally have specific logic paths to find to solve, and you get a lot of variant versions (sudoku with extra rules) that make it more interesting too.

This app is probably worth it for free if you're bored and want to mindlessly plug away at a puzzle but it's not something that anyone keen on sudoku (or even starting out in sudoku) should install over a paid app with handcrafted puzzles.

I would recommend anything from the cracking the cryptic youtube channel, they have a bunch of their own apps with curated content from the world's best puzzle setters.

Love the CTC apps! I would warn anyone that they don't do the best job about teaching you how to do the variants. So you would probably want some experience watching the YT channel first.

As it's a game, you could possibly add this to the thread at the bottom, but it'll go against the Sudoku theme that we've got going.
