surpricingly I have all thesse game i must have bought them a very long tiem ago. did even know I had them.

  • Anyone know what regions these are available in? I've got multiple Google accounts and can't seem to get any of them except crazy taxi across those regions.

All working fine for me on my aussie account. Not sure why you're having issues unless you have an older version of Android / phone that's not compatible.

      • Some people don't have Aussie Google accounts. E.g. my payment profile is set to Turkey so I can get cheap subs. Maybe the games are not available in certain markets.

        • Weird as guys on cheapies are able to get these on their NZ accounts which one of mine is. Will do some digging tonight to see if there's a worm around to make them show up.

    • Somehow my NZ account ended up in Ukraine, no idea how that happened. Resetting the payments profile resolved my issues on the account though.

  • Thanks

I remember seeing Virtua Tennis being demoed for Dreamcast and thought it looked like an actual TV broadcast 😂.

    • +18

Lots of Dreamcast games still look better than Pokemon games on Switch tbh.

The Sonic Adventure trailer when the camera switched and the whale started chasing Sonic blew my mind.

      • Lots of Megadrive games still look better than Pokemon games on Switch tbh.

        FTFY

Still play Virtua Tennis 2 on the Dreamcast. Still looks good :)

Me with Virtua Tennis on PS Vita at the JB HiFi demo in 2011/2012

      • +2

That's it, I'm taking it my vita and playing VT today

    • That was more true for the NFL2K games.

Mind-blowing graphics, animations and play by play

Virtual tennis was no slouch though

I remember seeing Sega Rally at a game shop when the Dreamcast first came out. Was absolutely stunning compared to anything I’d seen on a N64 or PS.

    • Before HDTV was commonplace it was easier to fool yourself.

I played Virtua Tennis recently and despite there only being five blocky polygons visible on screen it still plays better than any tennis game I've played on PS5.

Android links still show "Contains ads".

    • +4

When you launch the game it says support is dropped and no ads.

  • +2

    So much for SEGA “Forever”

  • +7

This version of Crazy Taxi contains the original soundtrack (i.e. the Green Day one). I think most other modern versions have replaced this.

    • +7

      Isn't it The Offspring?

      • +3

        You’re right!
I was listening to Ace of Base, when these bands were at their peak. I had a wasted youth.

      • +1

It was Offspring.. but they took out their music after their licence was expired and replaced it with other crap music instead..

      • +7

        Yah yah yah yah yaahh!!

        • +1

It defines this game for me everytime I hear this one

    SAY-GAHHH!

OG Crazy Taxi is a great time

  • Why aren't these enabled on the Google tv store? I swear the reason Google's good projects fail is by pure neglect.

    • +2

Because google is giving bonuses for stuffing ai in everything so if you spend a moment not doing that you risk missing your bonus, and you manager risks missing theirs, all up the tree.
They have become the worst, short sighted, quarter by quarter managed company where the only customer that matters is today's stock price.

  • Thanks OP. Most have gamepad support and multiple languages available, awesome.

  • +1

Is there a way I can add these to my google account without downloading them?

    • +4

Using the Play Store app, select install and then cancel the download straight away. Will still be added to your 'Not Installed' apps.

Bought Crazy Taxi over a decade ago.

Then they made it no longer work on newer android versions.

Then they refused to unlock the ads for me.

Now I'm back to where I was ten years ago finally. Thanks sega! Ya ya ya ya ya!

    • Soundtrack suits the game and adds to the enjoyment

  • Thanks OP, downloaded Crazy Taxi

  • +2

Wow had Crazy Taxi back in 2002 on my Dreamcast. But all these games are still good to play all these years later.

  • +2

Thank you. I grabbed Golden Axe, my childhood favourite

  • Remember the cheats to get the rickshaw? That was the best.

    • +2

Go to “Help & Options” > “Special”. Then complete all the challenges to unlock the Richshaw.

    • I don’t remember, but I also don’t know which game you’re referring to.

      • Million dollar question

        • I just looked it up, it’s crazy taxi.
I’m thinking of a fighting game that had a rickshaw or maybe fruit cart that would randomly turn up in it and you could kick it. I think, but I could be imagining it.

They still show as "contains ads". Is that just a hang over?

    SEGA is back! Thanks.

  • Awesome great find!!! Thank you :)

  • Whish they have "Mystical Fighter"

    • Would be nice

  • +3

This is awesome, I just downloaded them all to my Anbernic 406h!

    • +1

Will have to add to my rg40xxv.

      • +2

If I remember correctly, the xx devices are Linux based so you might be limited to playing them via emulation. The 406h is Android-based and has access to the Play Store.

  • Damn thanks so much

  • +3

Sonic the Hedgehog Classic and 2 Classic is also free. It wasn't listed in this deal but those two games are actually showing for free.

  • Weird that every game except Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is supported on my ancient Google Nexus 10 tablet.

    • Sonic The Hedgehog 2 needs Android 6 or higher to be able to be installed. Google Nexus 10 Tablet only got an upgrade to Android 5.1 so it's not supported. That tablet is so ancient.

      • Yes but why did all the other posted games install on it?
Obviously the tablet can play a game from 1992 lol

        • -2

Because Sonic the Hedgehog Classic supports Android 5 or higher so that's why it ran on your tablet with Android 5.1. But Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Classic requires Android 6 or higher (it probably requres some thing in Android 6 which Android 5 doesn't have). And all the other games just needed Android 5 or higher. It's as simple as that. Your old tablet is so old that it doesn't even have Android 6 which is the requirement for that one game. So no Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on that tablet.

Nexus 10? I haven’t used mine in like 8 years. How are they to use in 2025?

    • Best Sonic game ever.

  • Anyone had success playing Crazy Taxi on Android with a controller? I can connect but buttons do random things.

  • Very good find OP love these classics!!!

  • strange some of the apps are not available on the US IOS store. golden axe and super monkey ball.

  • Every app opened says out of support meaning will them work on new android a dips devices or not really

  • SEGA forever

  • Nicely done. Some gems for playing on the go whilst waiting for wife at the shops.

  • +1

It happened, the games have been delisted. On Android I can still access the pages if I am logged in.

    • oh damm can't believe it :(
