    Do you have any that can replace standard mr16 halogen globes so the globe housing does not need to be changed ???

      There are 2 ways you can do the upgrade.

      Change your existing halogen MR16 bulbs to smart WIFI RGB MR16,

      Or just change the existing wall switch to a smart dimmer switch that works with google home or Alexa.

      Swapping the bulb is a DIY job, but you will need a sparky to install the smart dimmer switch.

      Both ways you can keep the existing downlight (MR16 housing)

      Gledopto are the only MR16 retrofits I know of. I have two and they work well. About $25 each delivered from Aliexpress. RGBW

        It's better to go with a local seller that offers a replacement warranty, the MR16s are easy to blow out.

            @10101010101: Agree with you, it will be easier just to swap the MR16 retrofits to 90mm Cutout recessed LED that cheap Wi-Fi versions with warranty.

      It depends on what type of wall you have, if it is a double brick wall then it will be cheaper to swap all the downlights for smart ones as pulling the Neutral wire will cost $1,000+ easily.

      Yes, you can get 2 x 4 downlight + Dimmer switch bundles, so you will have one dimmer switch control 4 lights and the second dimmer switch control the other 4 lights in the second zone.

    Ive currently got 4 downlights connected to one switch that doesnt dim (just lights on / lights off). Would either of the above work? Wouldnt I need the 4 lights (Im not sure if the ones I currently have can dim), the dimmer switch, & something in the wall for dimming?

    Could i get myself into too much trouble if I just had installed a smart switch with the current lights I have knowing that Im not sure if they could dim?

    I already have a Hue bridge, so thats not a consideration

    Hi, you don't need to get the downlight + Switch bundle if you have already got downlights in the room.

    You can replace your existing switch with this smart dimmer switch:
