Can you disable the LED for a less wank factor?

    • +1

doesn't really stand out much in use, I plugged mine in and never thought about it - you should be able to manage it through alienware command centre i would imagine.

      • In all seriousness how is it? I was keeping an eye out for a wireless mouse. I've have had many logitech wireless mice in the past and thought they were great. Rocking a wired steelseries sensi atm. How is the shape? apparently it's a bit odd?

Shape is OK, I wouldn't describe it as particularly good or bad.

At this price (which is similar to what I paid) its a good pickup.

I am, however, no a fan of ambidextrous mouse designs - I will never use this mouse with my left hand and the fact that the shape suggests I should be able to (save for thumb button placement) annoys me a little.

None of these factors have motivated me to change the mouse for something else.

the battery will shit itself after about a month… device will still operate as a wired mouse but dont buy this if wireless is a important thing

          • @senectus: My mouse which runs wireless at all times unless it is charging would disagree with you.

Dell warranty is also generally very good.

I'm going to click post comment with this mouse right now.

It's Alienware… it's supposed to have Wank factor.
      ;)

    • If you don't want an ambidextrous mouse, the Razer Basilisk is on sale at Amazon and Umart for $69.82:

I haven't used one myself as I've already got a Razer Mamba wireless, but they do ok with mice as a brand. For not much more, there are more gaming specific mice like the Glorious Model O for around $129.00 if keeping things light are your thing.

LED doesn't impact your man handle of the ham candle.

seems like a good price but it looks like my $15 logitech m185 work mouse with some back attachment.

    I would not recommend this.

I have this. the battery will become next to useless in about a month.
I don't mind much as I'm happy to use it as a cabled mouse but yeah.. if i had the choice i would not buy this again.
