Just noticed this challenge in the Shopback app. Only 2000 slots available.

• Note: The '$ to go' amount that appears when you start the challenge is the pre GST amount. 
• This challenge entitles you to $5 bonus cashback when you spend $5 or more (excluding delivery fee & all other fees) in a single transaction at Amazon Australia through ShopBack between 9th September 2021 12.00am AEST to 9th October 2021 11.59pm AEDT. 
• Limited to one bonus per customer. 
• Only purchases made after you 'Start' this challenge will qualify for the bonus cashback.
• Available while redemptions last. 
• The $5 bonus cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you receive for shopping at Amazon Australia through ShopBack.  
• The $5 bonus will be added to your account once your regular cashback turns Confirmed. 
• Purchases that do not count towards this challenge are those in which do not meet the store's respective terms and conditions (including but not limited to cancellations, returns, exchanges, using unapproved coupons, purchasing excluded products/categories).

      I have a feeling you can, when you go to shopback, it encourages you to save more and ask you to buy their gift card. While other stores like boozebud, it doesn't advertise you can use giftcard and also claim cashback. Although I would encourage you to double check with the shopback store rep.

      I wouldn't call it discrimination, it is just business and computer algorithm that select the users. If 99% of users got a promotion and you didn't, then it is hard not to call it discrimination.

      Bought an Echo Dot (3rd Gen) with starting free prime trial for 10$ plus this 5$ cash back. 5$ for an Echo Dot. Not too bad I think.😌

        Same here. I have been using catch.com.au for about 2 months now and not 1 has been honoured.
        Tried the help line to ask why but can’t get a hold of a human to talk to. I’ve made well over $2K worth of purchases from catch but still nothing from ShopBack.

      Nah, it's only for items with regular cashback, so you wouldn't get the $5 for a 0% category.

      The $5 bonus cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you receive for shopping at Amazon Australia through ShopBack.

          Nope, that just means you get the $5 bonus cashback along with the regular cashback.

            @MiscOzB: I just avoid cashback with Amazon … too many ways that your cashback can be denied or fall into a 0% category.
            I didnt take a store coupon because I thought it was a cashback purchase (and the cashback was slightly more tied to one of these min spend offers). Got $0 from cashback, when I could have has a slightly smaller (but instant) discount as part of the purchase.

    If you buy $35 on something that's 0% cashback category and $5 on something in the 7.5% category, will you get the $5 bonus? (Spending over $39 to get free shipping.)

    hi I am considering to buy $5 underwear from Bonds store in Amazon AU (link below) and the category is "clothin, shoes & accessories". however under shopback cashback rate there is no such category other than "Apparel" giving 7.5%. Can @gotyourback please confirm that 1. the underwear will track 7.5% cashback 2. the $5 for $5 targeted offer will also be eligible. 3. is the above two still going track when I pay from my amazon giftcard balance? 4. for future amazon purchases, how can we be sure or should we always find the category matching? much apprecaited.

      Hi @henestto, this should be fine.

      1 - It looks like it will fall under the "Apparel" category - which is currently at 6%.
      2 - It will be eligible for the $5 for $5
      3 - Absolutely, Amazon are one of the few merchants that pay Commission/Cashback when you pay with a Gift Card
      4 - The best way we've found to confirm the product category is to look at this on Web - not App.
      It's not always clear what category it will fall under, but it's the best/only way we know of at this time.

      Also be sure to click through our links with an Empty Shopping Cart, as Amazon doesn't pay us on items already sitting in your Cart :)

    Mine wasn’t tracked either. I’ve turned on the offer from the Shopback app, click Shop Now, which then transferred me to the Amazon app, and made a purchase right away. All done yesterday but still not being tracked until now.

    Sigh.

      ended up buying an notebook under "office supplies" for 5.95…hopefully cashback at 6% is tracked and the $5 is also tracked making it a ~50c notebook
