I've been close to buying these a few times but always concentrated on the few negative reviews but today's deal made me pull the trigger. I'm not expecting big things from a pair of $52 earbuds but from all reports these punch above their weight

Ah! bought these a while back full price - but very good ANC.
There is no app control of the buds however.

  • I have these and they are great, not sure how they compare to the other Sound peats items but these I found were a great buy.

  • Good to see a transparency mode, but does anyone who have these actually use it? How good is it?

    • very natural sounding passthrough

I have these, no complaints at all. I love using them.

The transparency mode works well, I never use it though, I always have ANC on and use it that way.

Having had expensive wired headphones in the past, these actually are not just great for the price, but are really good. The sound is balanced, the bluetooth works great at up to 10m distance (haven't tried further), auto connects as soon as you take them out of the case.

Highly recommend! Only issue is these don't fit my wife's ears, I wear them for approx 4-5 hours a day and no problem for me.

I pulled the trigger too today!

  • How does this compare to Jabra 75t for call quality?

    • +2

I don't think it's worth comparing cheapo buds vs premium buds. These will pale in comparison, unless all you are after is highly average call quality in a quiet environment. Still have yet to own a single Soundpeat product that does calls well.

      • I've got Jabra 75t and call quality is very good for work. But I just lost it so looking for a replacement. Missed out the Farther day deals already. Thanks!

  • I read online about an issue with a static or hissing noise when using these. Can anyone comment if they experienced this issue?

If anyone else is like me, I spent ages looking through the countless number of Soundpeats models and was left a bit confused on what to get

If it helps anyone - I ordered the True Shift 2 on the last deal 2 weeks ago, so far I'm super impressed by the fit, feel and sound quality. Used for exercise and have not fallen out once. No connection issue either

They're not ANC but do a good job of blocking most ambient noise. For the price they're an absolute steal. If the other models are as good then Soundpeats will give big brands a run for their money

TLDR - Happy with the t2 product vs $ - i would pay that.

Have currently got 2x 3se varients, 1x t2 (both are soundpeats), and a jib skullcandy via jbhi, i like the JIB necklace feature.

The T2 does a good job ANC when the noise levels are linear, i find using the brush cutter where levels fluctuate, it struggles. but a mower or constant level noise it works great (including whinging wife, that just makes the matter worse). great sound quality - i prefer the t2 sound over the 3se in that area, i rarely use these for in calls - usually when im working outside for music, and convenience. I'm yet to hear an in-ear that provides great in call quality. nothing like a mic 30mm from your mouth.
In the scheme of things comparing these to another $52 earphones, for that $$$ they are great.

You’re lucky to have a wife who whinges in a constant level noise..

  • Was looking at these the other day. Saw there was a special on a few different models.

I was concerned about the mic effectiveness when in a call/teams/zoom sitaution, and reading the soundpeats 'without' CVC struggled a but during a conversation.

I have a number of pairs of cans (wired and non). Had misplaced my Sennheiser momentum true wireless 2's the other day and wasn't too happy with myself. Lucky I found them.

Result - need to spend more money and get a backup pair. Thinking these might be an option.

Does anyone have feedback on the mic, please?

    • They arrived today. The microphone sounds fine in a controlled environment but I reckon they wouldn’t cope well with wind as I tried pass through and ANC modes out in the wind and it was very ordinary. Anything that uses the microphone out in the wind like those two modes would be a problem I reckon. It’s early days though.

        Thanks for the note.
Would be good to see how they do go in the wind.
My Senn MTW2's are great in the wind (so I'm told by those on the other end of the phone).
I can see the Soundpeats have a handful of models with CVC - CVC Being Clear Voice, so for the MIC, not the audio.

TRUENGINE2, Sonic, H1, TRUENGINE SE… (I believe, from what I can see on the web).

I've decided to send Soundpeats an email and ask which models include CVC and those that do, if they include ANC.

Maybe they will send over a cheat sheet or something.. :)

Fast reply - and on a weekend!

        "Hi Micky,
        Thanks for contacting us.

We have many headset models that include CVC such as Sonic, H1, TrueAir2, Truengine 3 SE. The current headset model that includes the ANC function is T2, but T2 does not include CVC.
May I ask which country you are from, and we can provide you with a purchase link.

        Best Regards,
        Mia
