Just saw this in emails and figured it was worth a post, seems they've updated their app (and maybe loyalty program too)

This week’s Big App-etite Deal is an absolute doozy. Get a FREE Subway Footlong® sub when you buy any other Subway Footlong® sub. Oh snap! That sounds delicious and thrifty. Just jump onto the all-new Subway® app to claim it.

Few pointers

  • You have to select a store first before having access to offers
  • Recommend adding offer to cart before manually adding products
  • Have to select +1 on 390ml coke (not 600ml) as by default it adds 0 to cart
  • If that doesn't work QR scan in store
  • I'd also suggest doing "one off payment" so your CC details aren't saved in the app because it doesn't exactly inspire confidence lol

        Initiate an online order from the place that you are looking at ordering from. It will than appear under offers and it has a QR code with the offer (you don't have to finalise the order through the app).

          Yeah already found the offer but was hoping to make a mobile order and have the discount apply through the app checkout, but I guess will just have to settle for scanning it in store then.

            @vawiyoci: I added the offer beforehand and then manually added a sub + 390ml coke for the deal to apply.

            Good because it's valid on any sub, not just the cheap range. Burner SIM came in handy today XD

                @vawiyoci: Are you adding a 600ml coke accidentally? Did this the first time and it said not applied.
                Weird thing also is that by default it adds 0 cokes to your cart so you need to hit the Qty + button before adding to cart

                    @vawiyoci: Didn't work for me in the app either so I tried the website on my laptop and also tried my phone like someone suggested and it was applied after adding 2 subs in :)

      Go to Order -> Offers and it should be there as a QR code for in-store scanning and an "Add to mobile order" button. Note, you'll need to have registered for Subcard first.

          A new app was just released in the last few days. I still had the old one installed but it gave a message saying it was expired when opened up. Have installed the new one but not tried it yet.

    Not sure if i trust the app, remembered why i uninstalled - freezes my home screens trying to drag the icon around.
    Never benefited once from the app or their old pathetic rewards.

    Wow worst app ever. I can't even get the welcome offer of a Subway Six Inch and 390mL Coke to apply.

    Just horrible.

      Yeah the app is pretty terrible. Had to reinstall the app to get the store list to appear.

      Then tried using the welcome offer, which failed a few times.. then all of a sudden worked. Gonna go pick it up for lunch in 10min.

    Nothing here. I didn't once see any offers on the old app either. Maybe the franchisees around me refuse to take part? I know years ago when they would send out offers via email the manager would usually get upset when I claimed it.

        I deleted the app, unsubscribed from their emails.

        This isnt the first time this has happened where they email you an offer and the Subway near me didnt accept the deal.
