Expectations: 4TB portable hard drive under $99 + free shipping
Reality: Price jacked and drive is even more expensive than today even after discount

    • LMAO

    • yeah 4tb drives r the sweet spot atm. the jump from 4 to 6tb is usually 150$ more crazyness.

    • +2

      Love it. (the comment)
      Couldn't be more right, what's 15% off a 25% price increase? A deal apparently.

      • +1

        Hence my avatar…

        (Mathematically incorrect, I know)

    • You must be new here ;)

  • Prepare for the eligible items to jack up in price at 10am

  • will there be any decent graphics card deal?

    • +1

looks like there's a few eligible cards from PCCG

      • I hate that PCCG Ebay store never offers free shipping. Gah!

        • +4

Doesn't surprise me their website shipping is more expensive then msy, umart, scorptec, computer alliance…well u get the point its a rip there unless u live local its a good pc shop otherwise.

  • NEW code for Eligible Items: PSEP10

10% off Eligible Items, and an extra 2% off for eBay Plus Members

  • any good 11 series mobo and/or cpu deals please?

  • In the T&Cs:

“Eligible Items” means all items listed on eBay.com.au where a link to these terms and conditions and the coupon redemption code PLUS10T or PXTRA5 are displayed in the item listing, and the item also appears on the following page:
    for eBay Plus members: https://www.ebay.com.au/e/coupon-offers/15-off-tech-afterpay…
    for non-eBay Plus members: https://www.ebay.com.au/e/coupon-offers/10-off-tech-afterpay…

Make it sounds like non eBay Plus buyers can get 10% discount.

    • Yeah this has been the last few eBay sales which I guess is good for most people. eBay Plus also gives free shipping on a lot of items and special vouchers and stuff but yeah, if Jack doesn't have too much to say we might be able to find a good deal or 2.

  • Hoping for some good ram after my last set was DOA.

Why would people buy on eBay even if they want to buy from scalpers. People are selling like 850,900 on my local marketplace.

    • Or this one…

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393566868276

Nothing like showing the world you're a scalper with your stash in full view.

  • Marketplace doesn't have good category filtering? Lol

It's a bit annoying pay for eBay Plus and not getting the full discount because I don't use Afterpay.

    • just get afterpay

    • Mate my experience is different. Plus member here no delivery of two monitors after 20 days and ebay is still thinking on the case. Delivery from sydney to regional nsw.

  • any good wireless mechanical keyboard?

just got the wireless v3 pro last sale (and it's on sale again)

I've been using it since, latency is pretty much the best compared to other less well known brands, and logitech only have the G915, and I didn't like the low profile keys

Alternatively you may give the iKBC W210 from Mwave a try, I was going to buy that one but they have almost no reviews other than the predecessor W200, which I imagine should be slightly better but I didn't get to try

      • thats out of my price range, looking at around $100-150, maybe a keychron

        • keychron is great for a wireless no frills keyboard, but I just thought you might want to be wary of latency, bluetooth is not suitable for high polling rate, so shooters gaming isnt that great with the added latency, if you're not looking to game on it then it should be fine

          • +1

@beeepbooop: oic, yea im not a gamer, just for wfh.

            the g613 looks ok too

PSA: the Nintendo Switch will be getting a permanent price drop to around $399AU soon to be announced by Nintendo Aust… just was announced in Europe.

    • Still, 381 will be better than 399. right?

      • Not if there's another sale after the price has dropped, right?

  • +1

Doesn't seem to apply to 2nd hand items, at least the 2 I checked.. oh well.

Correction, found a 2nd hand item it does work on.

  • had something saved from last night, glad it wasn't jacked. Just purchased, thanks OP

  • +2

This code can't be applied to your order.

    • Selected Afterpay?

      • I'm having the issue too.
PLUS10T doesn't work, and PEXTRA5 doesn't work with Afterpay selected.

Haven't used the coupon yet at all.

I reckon eBay's withdrawn the coupon because Jack forgot to visit someone before 10am.

        • …aaand working now
Broken again… No idea what's going on

Works now, maybe just a glitch

  • Hi guys, I choose to pay with after pay and the total price is like $100, but the new window from afterpay payment is actually higher at $120. Is it working as expected? Thanks guys.

  • Oh it says "Tech items" and here I was browsing booze.

  • Can this be stacked with giftcards as well?

    • +1

Yes, at least part of the payment. Haven't try pay full with gift card.

      • I didn't try paying fully, but got it down to 4 dollars and still checked out

  • Thanks. Finally signed up for after pay and got the SSD T7. I also got an extra $30 off for using a referral from ozbargain. :)

    • Is the $30 off referral bonus from signing up afterpay?

      • Yes.

        • Thanks. Is it instant?

            • @amazonaddict: Thanks again. One more question, is $30 discount applied after clicked afterpay which reducing the total payment due? Or does it reduce the amount of first instalment?

              • @apple0604: It reduces the total payment due

                • @kulprit: Thanks. I had to use due to expire ebay gift cards to pay so didn't make min $50 spend.

  • FYI Codes seem to work on a lot of items not in the Search list, from both stores and many private sellers.

  • -1

Do you have to apply both codes to get the 15% off using After Pay? Sorry not sure how to get the 15% off exactly.

  • AFTERPAY10 pls return after this promo ends.
