In this case, where the SHIPPING adds 50% to the cost of each for those who can't drive to the 3 locations - across AU - that provides pick-up service,

… I tend to agree with this policy!

This is a MISLEADINGLY represented deal, since a $10 SHIPPING fee is added for EACH of the (up to 3 max) kits you buy.

A -misrepresented- deal is - IMO - NOT a deal

We've trained our Hong Kong based vendors that adding 50% shipping fees (on eBay) is not a good idea…

Here's our chance to -train- "Harvey Norman Big Buys" on the same principle.

If you agree, DO neg this offer.

PS Most would have to buy this puppy "sight, unseen" - it might be crappy.
(You can't see it before buying it)

Easy Tiger. Life's way too short to get so heated up over some crayons :)

        • Sorry I meant to positve vote…but negged you and dont know how to reverse it :)

          You misspelt crazyons.

for those who can't drive to the 3 locations

I personally cannot drive to an Aldi, nor a costco…. yet those deals are available to those that can, and should be celebrated…..
You can't drive to a Harvey Norman….. unfortunate for you (and me too)…. but there are those that can….
don't neg deals based on your own personal circumstances

        • Couldn't have said it better myself :)

At best, I would have asked for a better description as I wasn't aware you could pick up at certain Harvey norman's, but what kid wouldn't love this?

    Hi guys and girls!

Apologies for the delivery fee, unfortunately the dimensions of the case and our courier services mean that the delivery is a little more expensive that one might otherwise expect.

It means that our customers receive their deliveries as fast as possible and with tracking to make sure they actually arrive. It's not perfect, but we feel it's more important that the goods arrive and are accountable for any damage rather than just run through regular Aus Post.

Thanks for the feedback, and hope that the kids are fans! The set is huuuge

    • Let me paint you a picture, it involves me, your pun and an eraser. So sharpen your wit for next time.

      • +1

The pun was rather sketchy, but I have no more. This thread has become stationery.

Buy one, and then you'll be asked to pay a postage fee just once.
Buy three at a time, and then you'll be asked to pay x3 of the postage fee at a time. ?????

  • I just went to the website at 12.39am SA time, and it says I got just over 10hours left, but here it says expired???

    • It's just a symptom of our midday-midday 24 hour clock vs OzB clock. You've got until… well midday

  • Folks, before you jump into this, when you google you get examples like this - read the reviews: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TRVWII/ref=asc_df_B000TRVWII192…

    • I'm not sure of the value of linking to a completely different item as a comparison.
Despite this, the item you link has a 4 out of 5 star average, (from 9 reviews), with many of the negative reviews aimed at the quality of the wooden box, (which this product does not have).
I would imagine they might be similar…. but who knows?

  • Anyone know what the quality of this brand is like compared with Derwent or Faber Castell?

    • +1

Not as good. Haven't looked at them side by side, but there is a certain "you get what you paid for" involved with any product. Great price for what they are, but don't expect Faber Castell
