  • Thanks OP. Ordered a pack.

Just ordered. Did normal cos never tried subscribe and save before. Is it easy/possible to buy Subscribe and save and instantly cancel the sub?

      • +2

It's pretty much expected. Amazon even have a 'only wanted the initial S&S discount' as an option when asking why you're cancelling the subscription.

I've never cancelled instantly though - I usually set it for the longest time (eg 6 months), and then cancel after I've received the goods.

        • I wonder if Amazon can use that as grounds to close your account in the long run?

I heard recently they closed someone's account because they were returning too many items

          • @montorola: Yeah it's possible. I reckon it'd be a matter of ratios for them though - if they're not making money off you, then it's more likely. Don't go stupid and you'll probably be fine… However, the world isn't so straight-forward sometimes! It is curious why that option's there as a cancellation reason

          • @montorola: I doubt it. Cancelling subscribe and save subscriptions for a product not yet received or paid for, is significantly different to returning products constantly.

FYI I’ve setup subscribe and save every couple of weeks for at least a year, and always cancel them once the goods ship with the initial discount, with no issues.

  • Thanks!

thanks, trying the select a size this time round

Damnit, select-a-size sold out. I do love me some select a size, basically just smaller segments but more of them. Often the normal sized ones are more than needed.

  • What is select-a-size?

    Edit Double strength ahhh

    • +1

Same total length as the normal one but 2/3 length per cut, so you get 1.5x more sheets.

    • +2

No, Select-A-Size is the same length as an original roll but with more segments. Can basically tear off smaller sheets if you wish.

Amazon have removed the listing from their website unfortunately, so now the link defaults back to double length.

better send this down to NSW there is alot of shit down there to clean up.

  • +1

Wasn't the one this morning 120 sheets and this one is 60 sheets?

So effectively you're getting half for same price assuming sheets are same dimensions

edit: nvm I don't didn't see the 12 roll deal this morning ; only the 8 roll.

    • Yep the one in the morning was slightly cheaper per sheet (approx 20%?)

      • I got the double length 8 rolls this morning - so is this deal better? Lazy to calculate and having second thoughts if I should cancel the morning one now.

        • +1

the one in the morning is better overall if its had with subscribe and save, by my rough estimations

effectively it was 16 rolls for $12, whereas this is 12 rolls for $10.80

  • Thanks bought!

  • showing as $17.99 for me, with 4 left in stock!

The price keeps jumping I didn't realise I ordered for $14.40 earlier today. I ordered back in July for $10.80. I would do S&S if it was kept at the lower price but that would not be the case.

  • Back up to $17.99.

      • ??. Yeah it's 17.99 from them.

        • Wouldnt really buy from 3rd party unless it's a unique item or such.

It's just like an ozbargainer listing an item etc…

          • @Turd: Ah right. So you are confirming that it's sold out.

            • @davwin29: It comes and goes..

Make sure when you buy it says:

Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.au

  • Thank you. Bought one!

  • It's back in stock. Just bought, cheers.

  • back in stock. thanks for posting

I cancelled my previous order at the higher price as I purchased without realising the price changed. Cancellation email says successful cancelled and usually items are charged when dispatched. However they have already charged my cc, hopefully they will refund.

I placed new order at the lower amount.

costco kirkland rolls win hands down vs all other supermarket rolls. unfortunately haven’t seen it in months

  • Thank you OP.

I love the select a sIze idea for paper towels, and my local Woolies is often out of stock. Great find.

  • Select-A-Size is back in stock.

  • +1

Select-A-Size….. What a splendid idea. I suppose it's only a matter of time before someone has though of it. There are occasions where I need to tear just a portion and only to make a mess of it by ending in scrunching the whole perforated piece instead of saving a bit of the sheet. It becomes unusable then and just goes straight to the bin.

BTW thanks OP. Ordered a pack.

  • Expired, back to $16

    • I just ordered one for $10.80.
