    Totally correct, they're rotten devices for multiple reasons.

    Poor write

    Poor design (the connector wants to collapse as you plug it in)

    And in my experience poor reliability.

    Back in the 90's and 2000's all I ever used was Sandisk… now i avoid them.

    Do you mean it degrades over time? I recently got the 256gb and it easily writes 80MB/s from my SSD.

  Fine for my application.
