Not a bad price but you can get it for $449 at a few places e.g. PCCaseGear, MWave, CPL.

I mean the fact you can get it for $30 cheaper at multiple locations makes this 'deal' a bad price…

Or you could just get the Logitech G920 or G29 for $394 (https://www.harveynorman.com.au/logitech-g29-driving-force-r…) which is Practically identical to the G923

They go on sale for sub $300

I got my G29 for $270. No deal

And? This is for the G923. Is the new model with much better force feedback

      • G923 is basically a g29, any "features" they've added since the g25 are trivial. It's still running the same gears and motor from decades ago

        • Okay…. but it's updated with more features/improvements…. so yea… it's not the same product…..
Whether it's worth this much is an entirely different argument, which it's not, but one may be after the G923 over the G29.

          • @onlinepred: It's not worth this much.

          • @onlinepred: If you bothered to read any sim racing reviews, they all pretty much say that its an G29 with some gimmicks tacked on. There aren't any improvements to the mechanics of the wheel itself and the software they advertise has barely any effect.

I have had the opportunity to extensively use both the G29 and G923 and would never recommend some buy the latter. There's nothing to justify the extra cost, just go with a G29. More or less the consensus is that it's a cash grab from Logitech, with the growing popularity of sim racing.

    • Where did you get G29 for $270?

      • +1

late 2019 :) I think it was Gamesmen or Harvey Norman

Not so sure if the difference force feedback justifies such a huge difference in price versus g29. I am currently waiting for a good deal on g29 or g923. And imho g923 worth it's money only if price is 300ish.

  • Goodguys had a massive sale for these few weeks ago. Was like 50% off or something. Cant remember

  • Yes, but you could only click and collect. And with this 5 km radius in Melbourne I could not go to any shops with stock
