I use the two buttons on the left (above the thumb) all day. Got them mapped to swipe actions on my Mac and the scroll wheel to zoom in and out. Super useful.
I'd be happy with the new buttons on the 4 - looks like one next to the two existing plus one large one next to the thumb?

Really? I kind of love that it has two modes, crunchy and smooth scroll! You have to click it down to switch. Smooth is great for rapidly going down a big document or page, crunchy for more granular movement.

Yeah, I upgraded from the MX Master 2 and the 2 felt nicer in terms of hand feel and the scrolling. But the 3S has USB C and the quieter clicking.
You get used to 3S eventually though.

These mice never go below ~$90 anymore. I paid less than $70 for my MX Master (which still works) in 2017.
I use it daily for work and I had to replace the main click button after a couple of years.
Otherwise a good mouse.
Its a shame it doesn't have the device selection buttons on the top of mouse like the mx720 does
Why? Are you changing devices that often that you need it on the top and that flipping it over to press the button is harder?
