Razer Barracuda X Wireless Multi-Platform Gaming Headset $119.20 ($116.22 with eBay Plus) Delivered @ Razer AU via eBay

I've been on the hunt for a decent wireless headset for a while and finally came across this.
Narrowed my search down to this, a Steelseries Arctis 7 wireless and a HyperX Cloud II wireless.

Pretty well reviewed everywhere. I was personally drawn to the simple and clean design as well the considerably lower price tag.
Reminds me of the Sony WH1000XM3.

Selling for $149 at most places and for the places selling for less than $149, they have a shipping fee.

I purchased at JB using discount gift card as I can't wait 2 weeks.

  • How many tb?

  • Just did a quick search on reviews - seems that the microphone is on the quiet side. Can anyone who uses this headphone confirm this?

  • What's the DN rating?

  • I'm really happy with these headphones. Not quite as good as my old HyperX Cloud II's (wired) but it's to be expected when you make the transition from wired to wireless. Very comfortable and good for the price.

  • I have this from previous sale. A no frills headset, but a good quality headset. Good connection and comfortable and long battery life

I don't play multiplayer, so not sure about mic

    • How's the build quality? Does it creak or make any noises when you move your head around when there's no audio playing?

Does it have sidetone/can you hear your own voice and surroundings through the microphone?

      • +1

It is very plasticky, but sturdy and it does not creak once on head. It also stays put once on and lightweight and doesn't heat up etc.

As for mic I've never used it, so no idea about it

        • The mic is as good as it gets for a gaming headset. I use it predominantly playing competitive FPS and have no worries at all.

As mentioned above, it’s a little plasticky but very comfortable and great for long sessions. Definitely the best wireless headset at this price point - no drivers or bloatware needed.

  • Does the code work for anyone? Can't seem to use it

  • This or HS70? I already have a desk mic.

    • This - great value headset…

      • If you have one have you had any issues with it? I've noticed a lot of reviews find the build quality to be less than ideal.

  • Lower than previous:
