  I remember buying a decently sized gift box of Godiva chocolates in Grand Place Brussels along with a bunch of other non-Godiva (i.e. cheaper) Belgian chocolates. Shortly after buying them I flew to Hong Kong where I decided let's try these Godiva chocolates - and of course I ate them all because they were bloody good. So I then went to replace them as I'd originally planned to give them to family/friends when I returned to Australia a couple weeks later. I was pretty happy finding out that there was a Godiva store in Hong Kong, but when I got there to buy some chocolates I refused to pay the price which was 6-10x the price in Belgium. In the end I gave away a bunch of the cheaper Belgian chocolates I'd picked up.

  TL;DR: Damn tasty chocolates, but very expensive unless you buy directly in Belgium.

    I got my order today, the salted caramel block. Look it’s good, don’t get me wrong, but I would say on par with the same variant in the Lindt blocks you can buy at Woolies. As Lindt is half the price (or more if on special) I will just be sticking with Lindt if I feel like fancier choc.
