Ask for the address of manufacturer and tannery. There should be no reason why your retailer cannot provide you with details of the origin of your boots.

    You need to caveat “100% Australian Made Ugg boots” given that outer sole (a critical component of any boot) is Chinese made. Otherwise, kudos for last Australian sheepskin tannery.

    The Sheepskin UGG Boot is the ONLY UGG boot which is ALL Tanned and Manufactured in Australia.
    If you can find any sole producers in Australia, please update , we would love to support them! 🙌 🇦🇺

      This is how you do it - call all your Australian competitors and unite to create an outer sole manufacturing factory - share cost, share risk and share rewards - like it used to be done before China took advantage of Australian lackadaisical attitude and did your job for you.

        Did you know there use to be 172 Tanneries in Australia and now we Own “the last” Sheepskin Footwear Tannery in Australia.

          I did know, hence, "kudos for last Australian sheepskin tannery" above. But, you've asked and (not that I'm taking credit for originality) proposed a gambit for you to earn genuine "Made in Australia" label (without caveats) and pull others of similar intention with you. Which of it is insurmountable?

            @AlexF: Then you will be well aware that only 30% of the product needs to be made in Australia for the Australian made label.
            That the Australian made label is a privately owned business not run by the government and businesses pay 10k a year to be in the Australian made club and receive the Australian made certificate.
            Therefore we are far ahead of any other business who is actually genuinely 100% Australian made, owned and manufactured here in Australia.

    I'll never buy a pair of Uggs because you can't watch them. I have no idea why they haven't made the liner more like a zippable sock or something that can be removed to be washed & dried. Kinda like snowboard or ski shoes.

      The whole boot is Merino X Sheepskin, therefore a RAW material-

      There is no Liners, literally the whole boot is Double Face Sheepskin….

      The Innersoles are exchangeable, therefore each season can be FRESH inside and protective sprays can be used for the outer protection…

      This is hilarious. You're essentially saying the entire design of the Ugg boot needs to be completely changed. Wouldn't really be an ugg boot any more then would it?

        Yes! It would be better than traditional Ugg - washable with only the inner sock needing replacement.

        With 'Ugg' trademarked overseas, wouldn't it be innovative if an Australian company made a better ugg? Wow, Australian ingenuity instead of another me-too.

      We recommend a size 11-13 , this means Men’s 11 and Womans 13

      Our Sheepskin is very dense as we use Merino X sheepskin which has 2-4 thousand particles of hair per centimetre, any other sheep in the World only has 2-4 hundred.
