    Why do you sell https://vitalpharmacysupplies.com.au/products/bioglan-sleep-…

Each Tablet Contains Equal Parts of: Melatonin 6X, Coffea Cruda 6X, Arsenicum Album 30C, Matricaria Chamomilla 6X

    Description:

Formulated according to the principles of homeopathic medicine. Each ingredient provides unique benefits to aid a better night’s sleep.

Is there anything to support the claim "Each ingredient provides unique benefits to aid a better night’s sleep."?

Bit confused why you are asking. Wouldnt it make sense that you ask the manufacturer instead of the chemist that sells it? They are the one that puts out the claims with guidance from their R&D team.

It’s like me saying what is there to say panadol cures my headache.

Because the law says businesses are not allowed to make statements that are incorrect or likely to create a false impression. This rule applies to their advertising, their product packaging, and any information provided to you by their staff or online shopping services.

It’s like me saying what is there to say panadol cures my headache.

Well I'm not a chemist but even I can google: https://www.tga.gov.au/sites/default/files/otc-template-pi-p…

Also paracetamol is an analgesic, it doesn't cure anything.

Let me be clear because it may not be obvious:

The 6X means that it has been diluted 10^6 times. There is practically no active ingredients in it.

Chemist warehouse says it too (not just these guys) - based on whatever the manufacture/product says. It also says “unique benefits” not saying it will 100% aid you.

So what do you say about vitamins then?

Can you point to a single ingredient that will help?

So what do you say about vitamins then?

Vitamins are essential for humans whether or not you need supplements depends on each person, but vitamins are an active ingredient.

"Each Tablet Contains Equal Parts of: Melatonin 6X, Coffea Cruda 6X, Arsenicum Album 30C, Matricaria Chamomilla 6X"

The 6X means that it has been diluted 1,000,000 times.

Or did it mislead you into thinking there are active ingredients?

            • @deme: I’m not doctor or pharmacist and not claiming I know better than anyone, but with my knowledge Melatonin is an ingredient that “could” potentially help you with a better sleep and camomile as well which people say “it relaxes you etc”. Regardless of how diluted it is (like all products in the market) if they have “some” I’m pretty sure they can make a claim and if you want a more “stronger” then you get what you pay for - simple. I guess similar to creams/vitamins etc.

              • @Baby Grogu:

                Melatonin […] better sleep

Sure, there are plenty of studies on Melatonin and sleep, that's not what is being debated here.

It is illegal to support Melatonin without a script (unless they are over 55). There is (if any) a negligible amount of Melatonin in this product to be able to sell it legally.

It's not possible to even calculate how much (if any) melatonin is in this product because it doesn't list the proportions of fillers etc.

I guess similar to creams/vitamins etc.
No, in no way shape or form am I claiming creams or vitamins are useless.

            • @deme: On the last note : If you are that passionate about this why don’t report the company who sells them to the TGA and maybe you will get a better response from them than me. Again, I’m not trolling you by any means and not judgement against you, but I just don’t know why you got that upset? about something that the OP can’t control. There are probably millions of products like that out in the market.
Everyone has they own thoughts and belief - similar to the vaccine situation.
Anyways I’ll leave it as that.

about something that the OP can’t control.

                Because the seller is responsible.

WTF if you need to believe in a product then it's not a medicine and you can't make claims that it works.

                Oh look:

                Ohh look:

                https://www.choice.com.au/health-and-body/medicines-and-supp…

There's no evidence that homeopathic melatonin (or homeopathic products in general) has an effect better than placebo, so you'll be wasting your money. If you're having trouble with sleeping or think you may benefit from medication for jetlag or shiftwork, see your doctor.
