Lol you can get 2kg bags from aldi for $10.

I can’t seem to find the product you refer to, are you able to provide a link to a product page?

Would also be curious Aldi’s total price for shipping a 2kg product, would assume this would add $20+ to the cost.

    • +3

Agreed. AEQUI Magnesium Bath Flakes 9.99 for 2kg

Or get 12.5 kg at Bunnings for $27, or a similar deal at any other pool shop.

        • TIL!

          Cool story.

You’re not listening to your consumer.

          This is ozbargain, not ozmarketing.

However a 2kg bag would take up a lot of space for someone who lives in an apartment or small house with limited storage space.

Mate I could tip out half into the toilet and still be better off.

Would also likely have to buy a smaller container if you were to store the main bag in the garage or storage area and a small amount in the bathroom easily accessible in the bathroom.

So long as you’re telling your consumer what they’d have to do, how about you lower your price to <$5 a kg??

          • -5

@bemybubble: The AEQUI product is exclusive to Aldi so I wouldn’t be able to purchase that at a wholesale price.

Amazing oils product which is the market leading brand, and sold in almost every organic shop aus wide, I’m not sure how you expect me to sell this for <$5 a kilo when the wholesale price is more than double that ?

If I bring you back to the offer, you won’t be able to find a cheaper price (including shipping) on that SKU with any other retailer. If you are comparing another SKU that is exclusive to Aldi, I am unable to help you there as it is not a product we are able to stock.

Thanks for the product description, yes seems like a very good deal. However a 2kg bag would take up a lot of space for someone who lives in an apartment or small house with limited storage space.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    It's a small bag mate, the dimensions are approx. 10 x 21 x 26 cm

Yep and take a house with 4-5 people & 1 bathroom as an example, good luck finding storage space

      • I used to live like that though? It's smaller than a 30cm ruler. It's hardly taking up space.
If space was such an issue, going to Aldi buying the 2kg bag and then pouring out all but 800g would be a far more economical solution.

The offer I have is available Australia wide and there are many people who live regionally and remote who do not live anywhere near an Aldi.

      • I literally have 3 bags of 1.4kg magnesium salts in a single drawer in my bathroom and it's not even taking up the whole drawer only about the top 3rd.

      • If you can fit a bath in the bathroom you can find space for this

We are authorised Retailers (resellers), have the permission from the brands to sell their products (through authorised wholesalers).

Yep that’s a great price. However I could not find it on their online store. Seems it is only be purchased in store and they only have 6 stores all based in SA ? So not accessible at all.

  • Also cheaper here

This is not an ozbargain deal.
I love to support small business but this website is just for bargains.

Yes I did see that, it is better than our deal if you do want to sign up to their mailing list for the free delivery. However I can say for sure they would be making a loss on this if you only purchased this single item, as wholesale cost and shipping cost would be more than $15.96 they are advertising. However if you do want to make a purchase without signing up to a rewards program our price is the cheapest total cost online.

OP, enough of that, stop defending your shitty deal, people here know what they want and how much to pay for sometilhing. Your deal sucks..period

        • Yep - I’ll let people make up their own minds ofc. Some deals are very well received others are not. Back to the drawing board.

          • @Beautylover: That would help. You could draw a crystal of magnesium sulphate, then your flakes to show how great they are. You could also point out the lack of sulphur in your salt and pretend it means something.

I'd offer to help, but I'm off to get a special deal - I've been offered half of a bottle of $78 whiskey for $150 - a small price to pay for the space I'll save.
