      I read that, but it doesn't explain how it protects your eyes?
      All it tells you is there are 2 different colour temperatures.

          I don't understand how the colour temperature 'protects' eyes.

          Maybe there is some new reasearch that I'm not aware of.

            @jv: This isn't a new research man.

            Blue light damages the retina while yellow-ish prevents that from happening in the first place.
            I use the blue light filter anywhere I can, pc, tablet, laptop, mobile.
            Without it, at night my eyes are gone and it feels like I have sand in my eyes, and shit sleep.

            Since I started using yellow-ish temperature, I can literally use my mobile right before bed and sleep like a baby. I also use dark mode everywhere. Day and night change.

            Yeah yeah, some people will tell this is bullsh1t.
            Well, I use the computer a lot, IT field. I play a lot, mobile other a lot. The difference is day and night.

    1. The light brightness could adjust by your need.
    2. No Flicker. You can use your phone's camera, The LCD or LED monitor will flick hard. it's really harmful to your eyes.
    3. The warm light is better for reading books.
