If you have the S7 and are looking for the self emptying dock for it, this is probably the cheapest with the simplest way that you can get it into Australia.

Note this is the Cyclone model that allows you to use either dust bag or bagless. Roborock AU is selling it for $699. Gearbite also has one for $599 but it apparently is the dust-bag-only model.

    I don't think this is right. I checked with Roborock AU. The AU version supports bagged and bagless. Or do you mean that Gearbite's one is not the Australian version? Gearbite's listing says it's the Australian version and says "Bagged/Bagless: Bagless".

      I don't know what Australian version will be.

      I tried asking GB eBay what their model is but haven't received any response from them. However if you look at the image on their website, it appears that is the bag only model.

      The same image is now on Roborock website, which is different from the first 100 unit they put on for preorder I saw a couple of days ago, which was a cyclone model.

        It says "Bagged/Bagless: Bagless". The listing description just says supports bagged, not bagged only.

        Robot Specialists also use this supports dust bag language https://www.robotspecialist.com.au/products/roborock-s7-auto… and they confirmed that theirs is dual bagless/bagged. I really doubt there's two different AU versions out there. It just means they haven't sorted out their marketing yet.

          If you take a closer look at the images in the link you provided, there are actually two models being shown.

          The bagless model has a handle on the top whereas the bag-only model don't. The dust container is transparent vs matte.

          Just make sure what you are getting before you place an order 🙂

            @davidl820: It's all stock images that they probably got from Roborock who probably haven't sorted out their marketing for Australia. But I'll find out when I get mine soon. It's eBay Plus anyway - it says Bagless on the listing https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/174955271880 under item specifics, so I will just return it if they lied. For me, it's a better option in taking the small risk than ordering through HK for me. It looks like Mobileciti actually names the specific model - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/144225600434 - and it's the Cyclone one

      They might have taken it down. It was like a preorder thing and there was only 100 units available, will be shipped on 1/10 when I saw it a couple of days ago.

      I haven’t used viomi, and hate how xiaomi charges so much for s7. However, I’m completely impressed by the s7. Daily vac and once a week mopping does wonders having a dog that freely moves in and outside. I could never go back to my previous vac (s50).

          Yes, I got the Viomi as well. It great for the price.
          I think roborock are shooting themselves in the foot. The reason the S5 was so popular was it was a great machine at at great price.

          The S7s may be good but are way overpriced.

    Thanks OP. I ordered white one on Group Buy at same price as the black. Hopefully it will reach the number needed.
    I recently upgraded from s50 to s7, and I’m finding that the dust box is not big enough even though I run daily. On s50, It wasn’t filling up. S7 does have better suction than s50.
    So for now with the auto emptying, I might look at running twice a day. Hopefully Xiaomi will add a feature to allow scheduling to specify rooms.
    Ah also, it might work out to be cheaper to pay in USD. It did for me.
