I've used both the plier and ratcheting type - once you go down this avenue you won't even think about the plier type again. Being able to crimp one handed in tight engine bays or awkward angles is a real game changer.
yep, can't comment on the deal but have an ebay special that looks identical, would never go back to fudging it with plyers.
I love a good crimper. Have one of these for general insulated terminals but wait till you boys have a go at crimping RJ45 connectors. its like uughhh~ feels good man lol

https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMPVncAApprox $15 via ebay australia. They are great for stripping the shield off inner core wires but not for outer shield unless a thin powercord. The crimping inclusion on the tool is basic and only good for insulated terminals.
Outer core is easy to strip by bending the cord in half and lightly scoring the surface with a sharp knife or blade (without slicing right through). The outer shield will self split at the point of bending so no risk to cutting inner core shield. Hope that makes sense!
