Also Crunchyroll Premium Fan Level Subscription: AR$99/Month (~A$1.38)

Not much to say, it's pretty straightforward. Firstly you need to get a hold of a VPN and connect to the Argentinian servers. Click on https://www.crunchyroll.com/premium_pick_plan?membership=fan and it should show these prices in AR$. Add a payment method (I've noticed Paypal doesn't really work, but adding a credit/debit card works), and purchase the membership at the AR$ prices. The VPN is only required for signing up, not for viewing. When entering your card details, select Australia, not Argentina, and enter details as usual.

If you get Unauthorised Request error, try adding your card details in your profile settings first then clicking in link above.

I have noticed that if you have a membership already, say a Fan membership, it won't upgrade. I had to create a new account and this time round selected the Mega Fan Annual and it worked using my debit card.

Original prices are:

Fan $7.99
Mega Fan $9.99 (Same as Fan with the ability to stream on 4 simultaneous devices instead of just one, and ability to download for offline viewing on mobile apps)
Annual Mega Fan $99.99

As above, if you're going to sign up, I'd recommend the yearly, as upgrading the account seems to be problematic unless you create a new account. If you’ve had premium before, you may get a payment error. Create a new account to solve the error.

        After landing on the page under the monthly sub option its says 'Looking for a different subscription plan? Go back.'

        I tapped on Go back. button just to browse and it showed all the plans..

        I saw this and tapped on skip free trial.. And it charged me straight away for the year.. Hope it helps..

        sign up, then download all 797 shows and then cancel your membership. Now can watch those downloaded 797 shows whenever you please, though I guess if anything new comes out, you obviously will need to do it again or maybe actually pay for the membership to download the videos….

      Aside from the user interface (UI) of their libraries and video players, there's a noticeable difference in the content available on each.
      Funimation will have some shows that Crunchyroll won't, and vice versa.
      I have Funimation already, but at this deal's price, I'll definitely enjoy having both and their respective libraries.

      If it helps, you can always start a trial for both or either of them, and search to see which of the platforms host any specific anime, movies or series you want to watch :)

      You’re probably on the two week trial first, then you’ll get charged. Check your account settings, does it show you’re on premium, and with AR$ currency?

      If you go back to the "All Plans" page, you can skip the free trial and sign up for the annual cost straight away. You'll have to create another account. Otherwise wait for the free trial to end and hope it still works.

          If you skip the free trial, it is a guarantee that the annual plan will start and the renewal date will be 2022. Whereas I am not sure if the pricing will still be the same or what will happen after the free trial.

        Give Tunnelbear free a go. I’ve noticed, even with VPN, it doesn’t always show the AR$ price, but keep refreshing and it should work in time.

      I assume they’d figure out a way to integrate and take CR members over, or maybe they’d keep it seperate. Can you imagine how many people who are on the annual membership and the outcry that would come out if they don’t actually carry people over?

      If you watch on the computer, I guess not, but I like watching on the go, and on my Apple TV and Xbox, so it’s more about convenience for me.

      You also get access to Crunchyroll Manga if that’s your thing (with Megafan)

      Yeah for PC anime viewers, the only major thing is you get to watch day 1 releases instead of waiting a week (not that big a deal). Offline viewing on phones is nice though (did that with AnimeLab - RIP).

    I keep getting unauthorised error on iphone and laptop with PureVPN and NAB CC. Just purchased PureVPN just to do this :(…. I can see my account now has free trial of premium membership and next billing date as 18-Oct-2021.. Should I wait until 18th Oct to see if I am even getting charged?

              @JunkCap: I don’t think you’ll be charged tomorrow, as it says your next billing cycle begins on the 18th. I wouldn’t worry, I was on the trial once and got charged after two weeks no problem. As long as it shows on the page, and everything looks fine, then you’re sweet mate

      Keep refreshing and it should work. Close browser and reopen. It doesn’t always show first time, but will eventually when the VPN is active.

    Got an email asking me to "Update payment details" after using Paypal last month. Membership has dropped to the free tier though.
