reviews are terrible for this…maybe look at the deluxe version but the frame doesn't appear to be that much better in quality.

Bought this last week…survived today's wind: Ridge Ryder Deluxe Gazebo 3x 3m $139.99

I've owned a few of these over the years… I buy them once every couple of years when they break down, either an entire unit or just the roof cover.

I've given this deal a plus vote for someone that wants click and collect at a local store and want it "now", but in all honesty these cheaper units are all basically the same regardless of brand. Don't expect the frame and covers to last for very long, but this should be expected at this price point.

For those prepared to wait a week or so, I suggest you purchase similar quality units on Ebay for $69 DELIVERED.
Replacement 3 x 3 roof canvas for about $30, and lots of other side wall, mesh wall, and canopy options available too.

The most annoying part to constantly replacing these things is the disposal. They are quite big, and will either need to be cut down to fit into your usual bin, or taken to the local recycling yard (here in the ACT the all metal components are free to dispose of at the Mitchell yard, you just need to get them there).

Long story very short… understand what you are buying here. They are cheap, and they will not last. Consider them a disposable item and for under $70 delivered there's no great loss when the fabric tears or the parts holding the frame snap off. OP's one for $100 pick up is OK if you really need one right now, but otherwise if you can wait a week just buy them online and have them delivered for much cheaper.

Don't impulse buy on the "Was $199" RRP.
These are only worth $100 tops. And like I said, the equivalent Ebay versions are cheaper again (with slightly longer wait times because it includes delivery).

    Examples:

Sorry for the long rant, just trying to save a little heartache in buying these things. Great for a season or two, then its a throwaway item.
And when that happens, knowing you've paid $70 for it is much easier to handle.

    • what would you buy then for a long lasting gazebo

  • maybe replace "standard" with "temporary" !!!
