Woolworths Mobile Prepaid Starter Packs - $20 for $8, $30 for $12, $40 for $15

250

Better than half-price promo on page 33 of this week's Woolworths catalogue.

Pay $8 for the $20 pack, $12 for the $30 pack, and $15 for the $40 pack.

The catalogue doesn't specify if this is an in-store or online promo, so I'm not sure if Cashback will apply.

You also receive 10% off your shop once a month if you have your Rewards card linked for 45+ days and the service is still active.

Usually online price matches instore price on Wednesday.

Possibly free for online purchase after cashback.

Use the $40 pack (free after CB) to activate on those long expiry plans like the $65 or $150. You end up paying $25 for 6 months or $110 for 12 months.

Is the $65/180 day plan still available? And how does it work?

      1. Buy $40 pack
      2. Activate and select $65/180 days, pay $25 difference?

      Or…are there more steps involved?

      • That's correct, you just select the desired plan and pay the difference

        • But there’s no $65/180 plan on the Woolworths Mobile website. Is this plan still available?

Is there an expiry for the starter packs which means I would need to activate before a certain date? I'm asking as my current prepaid plan doesn't expire until mid November so interested in buying now and activating and selecting the $150 plan in mid November. Thanks.

@Falcman: Yes there is‼️ Go to a Woolworths supermarket and check out the expiry date on the package. Each Woolworths supply has different expiry dates.

        • So the $40 starter pack doesn’t have 30
Day expiry? What do you meant by pay the balance for a long expiry plan? Do I do it online or over the phone?

    • Sorry what do you mean by free after cb - how do I claim cash back?

      • Have u heard of Cashrewards⁉️🙄 They've been around for yonks (years)‼️

        • lol yes i just didn't know if this qualified for the CB, i saw a separate post on the CR cashback on this, all good.

          • @sammyla: This is why u have to go via Cashrewards to buy the starter pack. Not Woolworths. But it leads u to the Woolies site.

  • Anyone using International pack? Is it easy to add for 6month plan?

    • You can add the add-on thru the Recharge page, however you would need to do this manually every 30 days

  • Can it be used for existing customers?

    • New customers only (you can port out then back in with the new SIM though).

      • After how many days?

        • Immediately if you wish

  • If I just stay for one month can I still get 10% grocery off? I m planning just to get a new number and will leave it till it expires

    • Normally you get the 1st code after 45 days.

    • I was able to a year ago, the codes follow the format MMMYYYY (eg OCT2021, NOV2021) and worked within a few days of signing up.

They might have 'fixed' it by now, YMMV

      • no you can still use the code,10-15 days after you port out.

Don't tell others of how to get extra discounts. (Or how something may have been done. ) Especially for such. Only tell relatives that. When do u lot use your head?… Never. "Ohh.. I'm just spreading the love." WTF⁉️🥴

  • How do I claim cash back?

    • Shop via one of the two major cashback sites. If still no idea, check my recent posts.

      • Ok thanks got it So is the starter packs eligible for cash rewards cash back on their website I found below so if I buy a $40 starter pack and pay the difference of $110 for a 365 day $150 long expiry which of the following apply? $20 back? So basically Spend 15 get 15 back?

        Postpaid Phone Plans $50

You only pay the difference for upgrade when you activate the $40 one, which happens after the arrival of SIM.

I paid $15 for a $40 pack two months ago and $15 cashback was confirmed a few days ago.

          • @Neoika: Cool thanks! Need to move away from
Boost for me and wife good timing really

    • Install Cashrewards/ shopback extension.

  • can you port an old number into this?

    • as long as old number is active and non woolies.

  • Can the number be transferred to an e-SIM?

    • We don't offer eSIM unfortunately

  • Online price reduces only after you add a SIM pack into cart.

    Update: issue fixed.

  • What’s the expiry on the SIM card packs? I still have a couple of months on my Kogan prepaid, before I need to switch over.

    • This deal seems to be monthly now. If not need it, order it next time.

  • I see cash rewards is limited to two sims, I am after 4 Sims (family group) - does shopback have a limit on the Sims? I can't see it in their terms - anyone know?

    • Shopback has the same cashback rates.

  • What’s the last date for sim activation?

  • Tried to pickup a $40 starter sim card instore (in Vic) for $15 today, but the sim cards scan in at full price, and the printed catalogue has those particular pages missing which show the special. So it seems this offer is online only.

    • I picked up the $20 one in store today for $8, this is NSW. Victoria could be different.

  • I just picked up the $30 one in store today for $10???

    This is in WA

    • Really? Anyway, it could have been free if you purchased online with CB.

      • I had to transfer over before my auto recharge went through. It wasn't worth risking the SIM not showing up in time, especially with the delay in post into WA.

  • Are these posted out in mail?

    • Yes - can take 10-14 business days from the date of dispatch due to AusPost COVID delays

    Mine arrived yesterday…2024 expiry date…winning!

    • But if you do not activate it within 30 days from ordering, the cashback may be voided as per terms says. We would like to know if your cashback approves for not activating it in time.

    • The letter with the SIM says it must be activated in 30 days.

  • I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything since

    • same here, got an email immediately saying will get the invoice very soon once dispatched, haven't heard anything since 12 Oct, talked to online chat, saying it is still in processing and nothing can be done. LOL

      • +1

Yeah pretty annoying as you have to activate it within 30 days to get the cashback
