I paid the $1 extra just to know I'll get the item at some point in the next 6 weeks :)

    Wow ! Save $110

Maybe it was $129.95 10 years ago

Yeah that's BS, surely there's rules here about showing fake RRP.

      • +8

That (RRP) BS alone, turns me off from buying it from them.
That applies to anyone who does that so blatantly.

        • agreed.

    • Yeah nah, 128gb "sandisk ultra" speed thumb drives have been $20-30 all year. (I am including thumb drives within similar specs from other brands in this)

Their write speed is painfully slow which is something less and less people have been willing to put up with.

  • Got one already, always get opened in my pocket

Back in my day, $19.95 pen drives would only get you 32MB.

Kids also play music too loud and my back hurts when I do anything.

      Someone's on my lawn!

      • Wouldn't know, I'm watching the paint dry

Never buying this model of sandisk again.

    I have 3 dead ones, a 16gb, a 64gb and a 128gb all dead.

I have a 32gb metal encased sandisk on my keyring which seems to be holding up ok though.

    • Same.

Regardless of who they once were they are not the Sandisk they were 15-20 years ago.

I've been buying flash since CF was a thing and the quality the last 5 years has been dismal.

Lexar and Samsung have proven OK with extended use, and I've also been using Kingston and WD (who co-coincidently own Sandisk now) with no trouble, but not enough data to form a good evidence based opinion on them.

I did at one point get a counterfeit Sandisk (uSD)…. which still works.
Sad when the counterfeit outlives the genuine.

These particular Sandisk drives suffer from…

Opening when you don't want them to.
Collapsing when trying to insert them.
      Slow read speeds
      Slow write speeds
      Abhorrent random speeds
      Poor reliability

…….. But they have a great warranty /s

      I'm truly done with Sandisk.

I had one of these for when I was studying and it didn't last a year. Buyers beware.
