  • Great low-profile and sleek keyboard and mouse for office work. If I don't already own two of these, I'll definitely grab one.

  • Keep in mind this keyboard combo has a significant number of bad reviews, high chance of issues and possible return. I recommend amper got mine for $80 on special after researching all the slim productivity keyboards.

    • Got a link? Does it support multiple BT profiles?

    • keyboard is nice, been going strong…

mouse is too but i rarely use it due to the terribly slim profile it hurts to use it…

      • Yeah the keyboard is great. We used to have them in the office and no issues.
I ditched the mouse for a trackball..i didn't like it either, but road warriors seemed to like them.

    • -4

      high chance of issues

Yes I read that on an anti-vaxer FB group too.
It is Microsoft/Bill Gates. I bet it gives you 5g too.

  • Which slim keyboard do you guys recommend for office work?

    • +1

Depends your price range, the ones between $30-$60 aud always seem to have issues, below $30 is worth it as it's very cheap, Logitech ones are great but costly, Amper, Satechi and some others seem to hit the quality but fairly affordable target well

      • Thanks. Need to get a comfortable soft keys one for the wifey. Will check these brands.

    • This is my fav:

      https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/d/surface-keyboard/8r3rqvvfl…

Have two of them. Not cheap but was on sale at JBs a few months back at a really good price.

Just so nice to type on and rarely needs charging (though I think the latest model is battery powered). I do a lot of interviews online where I need to talk and type and I think this is a lot less distracting for the interviewee than other keyboards.

The matching mouse is really comfortable but chews through batteries much more than advertised.

      • I had this model and loved it until one of the keys randomly stopped working. Couldn't get it working again even after I took of the keycap and gave it a good clean with compressed air. It's a shame everything else about the keyboard was great

        • That’s annoying! Touch wood, no problems with mine, three or so years on.

  • Thanks OP, bought one!

  • Had multiple scroll wheel failures and one mouse that just flat out stopped working.

Then again I have had Logitech gaming mice with had scroll wheels as well.

No issues with the keyboard though.

    • There's a known issue where the plastic axle that supports the scroll wheel breaks and the scroll wheel stops working. Had that happen on my first one after 2 years. I've had 2 sets of these and that's the only issue. The 2 x keyboards and 1 x mouse still live on and if you want one of these. This price is great!

      • I just threw away one I discovered which turns on but the blue light underneath basically sticks on solid blue the whole time instead of flashing. Impossible to sync with any PC etc - pretty weird.

    • I had two cheap Microsoft keyboard and mice kits in a row where the mouse failed, I bought another. All bought with those Microsoft cashback deals a few years ago.

Anyway before I used the last one I found out you can sometimes fix them. Videos are on-line. Pulled them apart and cleaned and fixed the scroll wheel. In my case from memory the outer plastic layer of the wheel was loose so I glued it back.

Now I have three working keyboard mouse kits and haven’t even opened the last one.

My daily driver mouse though is a classic Microsoft Intellimouse, they can take a beating, I had those fail too after many years and it is usually the sensor,

  • I think mk345 logitech is a better deal, currently $62 at office works, did some research and read reviews and it seems its the best at this price range. Open for your comments/recommendations :)

  • Horrible horrible mouse. It doesn't follow the natural curve of a relaxed hand.
It's for someone trendy. For people wanting usability, stay away from this mouse.

  • +1

whenever something is targeted as 'Designer,' you know it will be more about the looks rather than the functionality.

  • OOS unfortunately.
