    That's a terrible resolution.

I have that res. on my 5 year old plasma and I have no complaints. (it cost me $2400 back then), still kicking butt!

at this rate theyd be on council pick ups soon

I have one of these. And I have a full HD set. I realize this might ignite a debate but IMHO, they pretty much look the same to me when I watch em.

Truthfully, my only gripe with this plasma is when I had it in a lounge room that got a lot of sunlight, I'd get a lot of glare. When it was moved to a usually darkened bedroom, it was great!

Agreed. Unless you're watching it up close, it's pretty hard to tell the difference between this and full HD. If it's a good quality plasma then you're good to go even if it's 1024 x 768. Good price, I'd get one if I was in need of a tv.

If your watching FTA TV and can't notice it then thats fair enough.

If you are watching HD content and can't notice it then you likely have eye problems.

You been curb crawling again - this is a good price for a good brand - dont complain so much

there are quite a few spec heads on ozbargain but the average punter just wants to watch telly

big brand - big screen - cheap price and thanks for all the fish

  • I OWN this TV.

Beautiful plasma, absolutely no issues with it!

I bargained hard for it 10 months ago, and $560 was the lowest.

    Now at sub-$400 it's a steal!!

If you want a nice TV for the lounge, and not for mch bluray, then grab this one!

  • I have never owned this TV but I've owned another 1024x768 Samsung that that res is fine for general TV viewing. The only time I really found the resolution lacking was when I was playing console games, it seemed to make the jaggies stand out even more - apart from that it's great for everyday use.

  • How is this brand TV compare to a Soniq?

Resolution on this TV is very bad though.

unless you sit 5 ft away from your 42" TV, there is no benefit in getting the higher resolution of 1080p (unless you use as a PC monitor). This is outstanding value for a small plasma!

    • This is a 43 inch and not 32inch, offcourse you would be able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p unless you are blind.

Why do we always have to have people post things they don't understand.

      Or maybe people need glasses/contacts
