During the 12 hour promo, cashback for First Choice Liquor is capped at $25 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 10am to 10pm AEDT 09/10/2021.

Orders paid partially or in full with gift cards are ineligible for cashback.

Cashback is ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards, including use of 3rd party or staff discounts.

This store reports sales ex GST. Cashback is calculated on reported value.

      Can you confirm this as I always thought shopback and cashrewards did not work with staff card

        If it works for one, it will work for the other - and vice versa. The terms are set/provided by the stores, not by cashback/rewards partners. Cheers :)

            @Skitzout: Just order it when SB has upsized cashback. It seems quite frequent now.

            Or maybe it is a recent change. A merchant can be getting tighter along the way. Isnt it extra 10% off?

              @Neoika: I buy with stacked discounts. Eg staff, flybuys and cb. Only cb isnt that much of a deal when cant stack with another

    Dunno if it's just me, but the FCL website has been a jittery mess for the past couple of weeks, including items which show as in stock generating errors for not being available in NSW when attempting to cart them.

      I had some fun with it today trying to order a Laphroaig single malt. Delivery errored out with 'not available in QLD". Switch to local pickup (in QLD….) and all good.

    Ordered a bottle of Writers Tears for $70 which based on a quick google search is a pretty reasonable price before cashback, 20% was on the GST exclusive amount ($12.73), so net will be $57.27. Happy with that.

    Tracked and collected within the hour.

    Just ordered 6 bottles of Jacobs Creek Chardonnay for $51.30. After cashback and 3000 bonus flybuys points, it comes to $26.97 ($4.49/bottle).

    Kind of unrelated, but will the NordVPN and Surfshark cashbacks ever come back? I saw it the other day, but checked back the next day and it went down to 30% from the 95%.

    So, when I checked the price of e.g. 10 pack of Suntory -196, it was $41.

    But when I switched the store location from Victoria to ACT, the price went up $2.

    What the hell?

    Also: "This store reports sales ex GST. Cashback is calculated on reported value." Well that's bull—— too. That means the cashback is 18% not 20%.

    Does the cashback even work on the delivery part of the cost?

      Understable if you are new and never used Cashrewards or ShopBack before. Otherwise, it's just rants. Cashback only applies to ex GST amount. This is no news really

        Yes it has always been this way, but it doesnt mean its right.

        I'm firmly in the camp of advertise it for what it really is. If you are getting 18% off your cash paid as cash back…then it's "18%".
