  • Nice, I’ve been looking for a 120W GAN charger with Aussie plug for a while. ordered one. Thanks,OP!

  • @OP how to purchase the EU/UK adaptors?

    • +3

      www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09BHSGFGY

      The adapter’s link:
If buy our gan charger together pls pm the order number. I will help you get the refund of it:). But it seems only 50 in stock

      • -1

      • Thanks, PM'ed

      • Looking forward to this one. Ordered and PMed, thanks @auselect.

      • Ordered, pmed thanks OP.

      • Hi auselect, I have placed the order with adapter, can you please help to get the refund of it, thanks

      • Have placed an order for the charger with the additional adapters and PM'd order number. :)

      • Ordered and PM’ed order numbers

      • Hi, just placed an order, will pm you the details too. Thanks

      • Refund received! Thanks very much for the offer and the quick processing.

  • Thanks ordered 1

  • How does this compare to the 5 port one? https://www.amazon.com.au/HEYMIX-Charger-Dock-Charging-Stati…

    • $10 more expensive after you apply the 10% off coupon.

However, this is not using GaN tech. So, better to stick with the 4-port model in this deal.

    • This one is not GaN Tech. and charging station mode only.

The 4 Port one is GaN Tech with half-size of the 5 Port one. Only 1 Credit Card size 8.563cm, (maybe large a little). Portable enough carry everywhere.

Also extension cord included. Could let the charge become a charging station and never fall off the wall. Like the MacBook adapter old design before. It's very useful

This item will be categorised as Electronics. So, no cashback?

  • Hi OP, in the description it says it can charge up to 100W for the 2 USB-C ports. But then further down it says USB-C charge is limited to 65W devices.
Which is correct here? Looking at getting something that could charge my 16” MacBook Pro which is 96W I believe.
Would also like it to be able to charge my iPad Air 4th Gen but I don’t think this will be able to do that.

    • I am in the same boat as you. I would also like to charge my 16" MBP and my 20201 M1 iPad at the same time. I think this model won't do both at the same time.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

      • No. This won't charge 16" MBP and IPAD Pro at the same time. The MBP alone requires 96w, and the charger can only deliver 100w one single USB C.

        • Yeah I think my iPad Air needs 20W and MBP needs 96W and both use USB-C so I will have to keep waiting.

      • Not necessarily. Some laptops will have a minimum wattage required (not the same as the max)

        From the 2 usb-c laptops I have.

        1. Laptop comes with 45w charger, but I can charge it with a 27w (even 18w will work, but it needs to be turned off). I think one of the macbook airs (or whatever was that first macbook that decided to get rid of all the ports) can be charged with an 18w adapter while on

        2. Laptop comes with 230w adapter, but I can charge it with just 40w. Won't accept a 27w while on, but will when it is off

Obviously charging it at less ideal rates could result in it discharging while you are using it under heave loads.

Since for this charger, it is only stepping down from 100w to 87w when you have 2 devices, I reckon it will still charge. Don't take my word on it though, since I have neither of these

    • +2

Look at the 5th photo showing the power distribution.

      • Yeah I did see that after I commented so I think it is 100W max per USB-C port but then it doesnt really show the 65W limit if 2 USB-C devices plugged in.

    • in the description it says it can charge up to 100W for the 2 USB-C ports. But then further down it says USB-C charge is limited to 65W devices.

      Where does it say this?

Are you sure you're not getting it confused with the fact that each USB-C port is capable of 100W charging (if its the only device plugged in). If there are another two devices plugged into the second USB-C port and a USB-A port as well, then the max output on the first USB-C port is reduced to 65W.

      • USB-C1/C2: 100W Power Delivery PD

        And

All USB-C devices Max 65W and USB-A devices Max 18W

Whilst I understand what you are saying, that is not completely what the description says so I wanted to clarify.

        • Oh..it's my fault… I copy the compatible devices information from our 66w GaN Charger….

PD MAX Support to 100W :)

          Fixed. Tks mate

    • I can't find the description you said…

      C1=100W
      C2=100W
      C1+C2=60+60/87+30 Smart Control
      C1/C2+A1/A2=87/100+18/30 Smart Control
      C1+C2+A=65+30+18

  • ordered :) bought a lot products from Heymix

    • +2

Also extension cord included. Could let the charge become a charging station and never fall off the wall. Like the MacBook adapter old design before. It's very useful

  • FINALLY!!!! I've been waiting for this to drop for months. And the fact it comes with a 100W PD cable is icing on the cake. :-)

Thanks OP. Just picked one up.

  • +2

Any chance this comes in black?

    • +2

      Will coming soon mate

      • When will the black come, and will it be the same price?

  • +2

Good to know that it's "Foldable and Woldwild" :) (see 4th picture).

    • Oh baby baby it's a wild world

    • T-T My fault

  • +1

    In black please.

  • What is the weight? It says 500g which is ridiculously heavy

    • total 500g includes all accessories around 260g

      • Thanks, just waiting for black then :)

    • +1

I can confirm the weight of the charger and the AU adaptor is 221 grams - I just weighed it for you.

      • That's much more reasonable. Thanks!

  • -1

Man your credit cards are thick and heavy.

  • Perfect timing, with all these usb c cables apples have been giving me. I’ve been on the market for a dual usb a/c port charger!

  • Damn. Saw it last night, but went to sleep without ordering. Literally snooze'd and lose'd,

    • You can still buy it, but you would have to cough up an extra $11 (snooze penalty). :-)
Or, wait for the black model.

      • $11 for a nap… hmmmm

        Will wait on black :P

  • @auselect OP, could you please post another deal when you receive stock of the black model?

    • Roger that. The 100w gan charger (Same as MOPOINT pattern and IC tech) is on the way.:)

  • +1

I bought this on Saturday… and it literally just arrived (I'm in Sydney). I've no idea how TF Amazon managed that, considering most other deliveries are sitting around the 2 week window, but I was pleasantly surprised that's for sure!

One thing I wanted to point out though is that the plug is upside down. So when you plug it into a wall socket, the USB C is on the bottom and USB A is on the top (meaning the text underneath each port is upside down and therefore written on top the port instead). Not a huge deal breaker, but a pretty sh!tty design making the AU adaptor plug upside down.

    • If the wall socket is near the ground and you are bending down to plug in, the text would appear the right side to your eyes though ;-)

      • +1

No, the text is upside down. So the only way the text would be the right way up is if your power outlet is upside down.

    • Probably a CN adapter then. CN plugs are the same as ours, but upside down, being on the other side of the equator and all.

      • +1

It's a CN type A pop-out plug with an AU travel adaptor (which is upside down) that has nothing to do with the equator.

        • -2

          Whoosh!

    • +1

Oh….I got it….let me see how can I fix it in the feature..

But Luckily we have an extension cord…

      • While the extension cord is great, it's not going to be used if you require a minimalist travel pack of cables and chargers. When you end up fixing the plug, is it possible to have the correctly positioned replacement adaptors sent out to current customers?

        • +1

Yep, the converter is designed for all kinds of international model chargers. But it seems not fit for the High power (Large size) of the charger. That problem will happen with all chargers in the market. Because the manufactory is the same one.

I have contact with the adapter manufactory and will plan to fix it.

I will post when it's fixed and free to you guys:)

          Sry for the problem.

      • Now that I receive it, I'd like to point out also that due to the reverse adapter, on a double row power board, the charger body hangs well over the space of the opposite power socket (effectively takes the space of 2 sockets). So yeah the Aus adapter design was poorly planned.

        • I will fix it as soon as I can. :)

        • the charger body hangs well over the space of the opposite power socket (effectively takes the space of 2 sockets)

Mine was delivered today. I had the same problem. So, switched over to using the 1.5m extension cord.

          • @DoctorCalculon: Yep, I got the problem. It will the same problem with all chargers on the market work with plug converter, It's problem with manufactory. I have contact with them and hope to fix

  • @auselect OP, are you able to please post the exact package contents for the product in this deal?

        Thank you.
Just letting you know your Amazon listing for this product does not mention the 100W (EMCA) PD USB-C cable.

        • Tks mate.
Will fix it. But mention in the title and main picture.

I will let it more clear.

          Tks again

          • @auselect:

But mention in the title and main picture.

Correct. Just missing in the description body.

Thank you once again for such a great product, and also for posting this deal.

  • So i ordered this device and it doesnt work. Won't charge my 16inch MacBook Pro
    total waste of time.

    • I'm sorry about the issue you have met. We take full responsibility for what we sold and could help a refund or replace one as free.

I also use MacBook 16 inch and works well. So I think there may be something wrong with the charger. Would you mind recording a video and send to my email that I could report the problem to our engineer team more clearly

      Tks mate.

      • I also use MacBook 16 inch and works well. So I think there may be something wrong with the charger.

Also, charging won't work if a proper PD cable is not used.

        • uh….u are right.

        • To test it i used the existing power supply cable. I have also tested it using a USBC power meter and it wont hold anything above 60watts. So it wont charge anything above a small laptop.

          • @unifex: Further testing shows that it works if the mac is low on batteries (but not always).
Really frustrating product. Sometimes works sometimes doesn't

    • I'm having what appears to be the same or related issue with a MacBook Pro 16" 2019. Using the auselect provided cable with the MacBook as the only device plugged into the charger, the MacBook reports that it's connected to a power adapter, but the battery isn't charging. The battery then continues to drain all the way down to 0. Initially I had assumed not-constantly charging was a macOS battery health management feature but this seems a bit severe, haha. Sometimes if I plug in other devices, it will start charging. Other times, not.

  • Hey @auselect, how do I return the charger? mine charger disconnects when I charge a second device

    • You could return by amazon side. in apps or websites.

It will disconnect when plugging the second device and will reconnect in 15-30 seconds. Because the charger will recalculate the output.

By the way, Pls do not use the gan charger with the wireless device. Because most of the wireless devices do not have smart control chips and can't make connections with the charger. The gan charger will not know the output power, it will disconnect again and again…

      • Hi Rep,
I have the same issue, i connect my MacBook air m1 and my iphone 6s and at times it keeps connecting and disconnecting. The charger also heats up profusely. Is this normal?

        • 6s with usb A port?

What kind of cable do you use?

          • @auselect: 6s or even my Ipad pro 2016
I use an anker 3 meter cable with usb A port

            • @hamerix: all of 2 USB A Ports got the same problem?

              • @auselect: Happens to all ports not just the USB ports. Sometimes doesn't even charge. Have to unplug from power and plug it back in. Overall its not stable at all.

                • @hamerix: Real strange. I also reported to the engineering team. Pls PM me and refund from the Amazon side. If any update on the charger, I will send you a replacement.

  • Received my charger, adapters, and refund of adapters yesterday. Tested it today and all seems to work well.

Unsure how much power each cable is pulling as I don't own anything that can test voltages/amps but have 1 USB C slot and both the USB A slots in use and all 3 devices are charging as intended.

Only time will tell how the charger will turn out but seems to work well and I have not encountered any issues where devices have disconnected while plugging in a new device (unless this is populating both USB C slots which I have not tried.)

Thank you rep for including the other adapters into the price listed in this post and for now will recommend to others if asked for recommendations.

  • Any updates on this charger? Is it worth it?

  • @auselect will you run a similar deal when you get the black ones?

    • That is what the OP promised multiple times.

I am holding out for such a deal as well.

      • +1

We take full responsibility for what we sold and said:)

Will have a deal on Black Friday:) and the BLACK one will start to sell

        • Thank you, OP. :)

        • Will have a deal on Black Friday:) and the BLACK one will start to sell

          Any updates on this, mate?

Are we looking at Boxing Day / Xmas sales period now?

  • This has dropped back to $90.49 at the moment. Tempted to pull the trigger, but it’s not quite as good as the original deal

  • We take full responsibility for what we sold and said:)

Will have a deal on Black Friday:) and the BLACK one will start to sell

    Hey OP / @auselect,

Could you please let us know whether you would re-run this deal (in black or white) on Cyber Monday or failing that around Xmas / Boxing Day period?
    Still waiting with baited breath.
