  • Worth noting this is only for purchases direct from Apple - online at apple.com/au or at an Apple Retail store.

As Apple are the ones providing AppleCare+ insurance, to absolutely comply with the law, they're not selling it at the same time and making it complimentary.

If you buy from a retailer, like Harvey Norman, Officeworks, JB HiFi etc - as they're not the ones selling AppleCare+ insurance, Apple doesn't need to offer the 'complimentary' coverage and you can buy/pay for AppleCare+ right away after unboxing your Apple device.

  • Does it also include the premium support? I always suspected older and less tech savvy people might get a lot of value from Apple Care if they can pick up the phone and talk to someone about how to use the hardware, OS, and first party apps whenever they want.

  • As useless as Tesla discounts on fast dropping prices (after BYD leading with better value per tech).
I had 2y Samsug Care+ & didn't need as the smart case was the best case I ever had to protect & save battery - now 99% batt health after 26 months.
Apple is marketing not tech co. They will go as BlackBerry when compared to much better value Chinese models with much better AI & tech

  • Lmao this is a joke

    (profanity) capitalism

  • +1

So when I got it online with delivery… they started my warranty on purchase. So not even r receiving it yet… You have throught their shipping includes loss.

  • I think AppleCare+ is more for those who don't use a phone case or drop the phone frequently and live in place that has no access to a cheap repair service/shop.

But how much? I hate when it has no straight price on the page.
