    Again! Amazon's page shows a cheap price so I buy it now then find I have been charged a SURPRISE IT'S DEARER NOW price

      Needs a screen recording to be sent to the ACCC.

      From ACCC's website: "Businesses may also mislead consumers about prices if they: … * represent that an advertised price is the total price that you will have to pay when it is not."

      At the very least they should not allow you to proceed with the order without acknowledging the price increase in your shopping cart between when you clicked on "Buy it Now" and when you are shown the order confirmation.

      Imagine going to a supermarket, seeing $1 for an item on the shelf and when you attempt to pay 5 minutes later it is magically $2 because the store changed the price in the space of 5 minutes.

        Literally both times clicked the link, low price displayed, already logged in, immediately clicked buy now and charged high price. All within seconds. I doubt I could be there both times for the exact moment it changes price in less than 5 seconds.

        The older 10847 is the same thing except a few colour changes and you now get a dog instead of a cat. The cheapest price for 10847 seems to have been $14 from Kogan back in April 2021 and Amazon AU used to sell it for $15 every few months as recently as June 2021.
