I think this is an awesome deal as i bought 4 of them LOL!

i've been hunting for 24inch monitors for a month and the lowest i could find was a benq around $410

If you don't have NRMA insurance u can still get the monitor for $350+moneyback co

if you do it works out to be $314 + 3% moneybackco which works out to be $304 ish

SERIOUSLY some 22 inch monitors cost this much

price includes postage ^_^

  • it took me months to get money back from moneybackco.

    • Yes, but you do get your money back eventually.

Getting back some money is better than nothing at all I guess.

      • time cost of money man.

  • Sorry for these obvious questions, am new to these NRMA Dell Discounts
    1. Does it only apply to NRMA Insurance members or does it cover NRMA Road Service members as well?
    2. For these discounts to apply do you have to go via a particular entry page or do you have to sign up for a Dell Account?
    3. Assuming you have to sign up for an account, is here then some option in that account where you can enter the relevant NRMA Member and/or Policy Numbers?

    • gabbyh, it looks like the NRMA discount on Dell products is specifically for members of the NRMA Road Service (which I'm not :( )

If you are though, you can get your discount code from here

      • Fabulous daveg, thank you very much!

  • How do you use 4x 24" at the same time? I would love to have that on my desktop :)

    • With one of these Quadro 440NVS! An older style Quadro4 400NVS sold on ebay the other day for under $60 however it is only PCI 64mb and to get the 4 x 1920x1080 you'd have to use VGA port and not DVI. The Quadro NVS series is made for 2D/Finance however and not games.

If you spend that amount of money on that amount of monitor real estate you must surely have ulterior motives ;-) such as the latest version of some flight simulator using all 4 screens, right?

      • Bigger == Better? No? :)

I write broker/financial planner software for living so I know what it is like to have lots of information flashing everywhere on the screen.

        • Visiplan by any chance?

          • @kusama: The FPS industry is too small for me to say yes or no :)

            • @scotty: haha I only ask because you might be fixing the 'bugs' we are having at Monash.

              • @kusama: Phew… No. I don't work for Visi but close enough :)

        • Bigger = usually better but first and foremost it has to suit the purpose and fit into the overall package. If you can't run these units at their native resolution, thus giving you the sharpest possible image, or if your graphics card can't run your favourite game at native res at well over 30 frams per second, then you may be better off getting a lower resolution monitor. Not to forget the desk you need to work with 4x24". Would love to see a monitor arm arrangement that can handle 4x24" but suspect I wouldn't like to see the price tag :-).

  • The code to get 10% off for auto club membership is 6BM2GKD689$B15 (Limit to 3 flat panel monitors per member).

  • 6BM2GKD689$B15 works so only 314, Gosh…

  • Hi Guys, for the ones who have ordered one, how much did you pay for the delivery (to Melbourne). cheers, K

    • Delivery is always included in the price on Dell's website.

  • Just received mine from DELL(prior to receiving the email stating that I should receive it by 22nd Sept) have to say for the price its fanstastic. Moving up from 4x3 19" to this …. well it makes me think I need a better graphics card ;-)

  • I order one on Wed (17/9) night and got it first thing this morning (19/9) - looks huge and I only wish I have a couple of more eyes!

Got to love DELL's logistics a far cry to some of the daily deal websites.

  • How did you get the price down to $304? Starting price is $449. With the 10% coupon it goes down to $404, and then the 3% back from moneybackco brings it down to $392.
Where does the extra $88 come from?

  • L33Simpson: The promotion finished last Thursday.

I got the call from Dell today, delivery date for my monitor is this Wednesday :)
