      Mac or PC? For Mac, you need to look at Thunderbolt 3 based setup at the moment. It appears that with USB-C/Alt-mode, Apple currently doesn't support the necessary mode to do 8K. Will Apple use AMD RX 6000 series based GPU for M1X based laptops? Probably unlikely. It's unclear whether the M1X GPU would change USB-C/Alt-mode support (Apple's preference tends to be Thunderbolt 3). Even if Apple decided to do that, it will mean a 3rd revision of Apple's USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter (gosh, Apple, please don't do this, I am quite fed up with buying 2 versions so far). Thunderbolt 3 gears are at a different level (also cost more).

      RTX 2060/2070/2080 (and 3060/3070/3080) and AMD RX 6000 GPUs could do HDMI 2.1 via USB-C/Alt-mode with all data lanes being used. Intel Tiger Lake CPU and Intel Iris Xe graphics could also do that.

      So, you need to decide which way you want to go. If you want to go USB-C/alt-mode HDMI 2.1 path, then it seems you probably need to get a dongle or cable from Amazon US. They might make their way here soon.

      By the way, what do you want to get with 8K HDMI USB C?
      Could you please tell me the specific model of your host and monitor? Thus I can better recommend the suitable products for you.

    Unless these cables are certified I'm not sure what the value is here. Anyone can find 8K cables but moving forward you really want a quality certified cable to avoid headaches.
