      Yes and no.

      Yes any proper standalone mic will be much clearer but that also means it will capture any sound from your surroundings so unless you have a decently quiet room you may need to invest in additional equipment.

        Look up Nvidia Broadcast if thats an issue.

        Boom mics are generally directional unless you get the cheap ones (not sure about this one that much) so they can be also very good.

        Headset mics generally get all that breathing sound so I honestly think someone would rather listen to keyboard sounds than someone breathing down their neck.

      If the surrounding noise is an issue, you may also have a look at the dynamic mic, it's usually less sensitive and may require to keep it closer but it does not pick up so much background noise.

      Out of the box, yes, but it'll still pick up a lot of background noise and need a little work. You can run it through a virtual mixer such as Voicemeeter to boost the base in your voice as well as set up a noise gate, add a compressor etc.

    I have the pink mini one cheap from Amazon, I think good for voice not very good for music or singing.

      Saw a YouTube review last night comparing Mini, X and Elite, he says all are only good for voice, not so for music or singing. He suggested Blue Yeti is better for music.
