Steelcase Leap V2 Black $940.50 + Delivery (Free Delivery for VIC, NSW and QLD) @ Arki Environments

130

Looks like the same Telstra Deal from May - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/622773

They changed the link, but I still had the item in my cart from back then, I couldn't find the one with a headrest though.

Edit - Just got off the phone with them asking about lead times, The lady on the phone seemed quite annoyed and said "you must have seen this deal on Ozbargain, It's only for Telstra employees" looks like they've now changed the link and removed it from my cart.

amazing chair, worth every dollar. got one in the last deal.

  • That lead time tho

  • Some people from the last deal received their chair after 4 months. Not sure if anyone would have the patience. Black Friday will be next month, surely we would have similar deals.

    • Good luck. Won’t happen for this chair.

  • Link doesn't seem like it's working

So basically, you ruined the deal?

        • +1

Sure, I guess by posting it on OzBargain I did.

Damn, took too long trying to find a NSW address (as I live in the ACT). Next time!

    • Probably would have cancelled our orders anyway from the sounds of it

True… I assume it's supposed to be specifically for Telstra to buy for their office's? (Not just employee's)

        • Yeah the number I called I think was actually the owner, she basically said “if you work for Telstra your manager needs to order it”, which might be a change in policy because of the last time OzBargain ordered a bunch

        • I may be wrong but I don't think this is the Telstra office chair (certainly wasn't mine). These were offered to Telstra employees as part of a home office deal.

@Orrelljet: Interesting. Now I just need to find a manager at Telstra to order me one…

Funnily enough I know someone who's been waiting for a desk and chair from Telstra as part of their WFH package and they apparently couldn't supply them at the time as they couldn't get anyone to assemble them and the staff weren't allowed to self assemble for WHS reasons.

Now OZBargain is famous for lay people.
