  • Say the NVR box is connected to my router via the NVR LAN port, would the cameras still be able to record to the NVR if they are wired to a PoE injected switch instead of being connected to it directly, and the switch is then connected to the same router (i.e. everything is on the same network)?

    • Should do, yes. As long as they are connected to the same network. I've read this is how you have to connect non reolink cams to the NVR.

        Do you know if there will be any features missing by not having the IP cameras directly connected to the PoE ports on the NVR?
