According to Camel it's the lowest price since July 2018 & has an average price of $281.15.

The watch you mentioned is a Seiko as well with exactly the same movement so not sure why you said it's junk.
Yes it's cheaper but looks nothing like this model.

      • Yes an old movement just depends what looks you prefer. Not my cup Of tea but a deal non the less, all good

Picked up one of these years ago in the US. Looks great on a retro style brown leather band. Blue face is nicely reflective, gives a nice effect.

According to Amazon it has a Swiss Automatic Movement!

    • +1

Haha Amazon are funny, they've been doing this for years. They must get a lot of returns for misleading advertising.

Their specs on lots of cheap Casio watches say they have a mineral lens when it's actually resin.

There was a time when Swatch was selling an auto chronograph with a Lemania movement for about $400. This just shows how arbitrary the prices are. Charge what the market will bear.

    Sighs, I really shouldn’t.

I really want this but have too many watches. What do?

    • +1

      Graft on a third arm.

    • Sell another to make way

        Can never sell, only buy

    • +1

Can a person every have too many watches?

I'm happy to accept donations if that helps you out.

  • Not too bad, good to see a not ugly one for a change.

  • Reminds me of my 7016-5001 but without the chrono

I have the SNKP27 (the green dial version of this watch) and it's gorgeous on the wrist. Nicely tapered lugs so sits well and doesn't look huge. Mine is paired with a Geckota Engineers bracelet and looks stunning.

Yes. I also have the green on a vintage brown suede strap. Looks great. This one is a good price.

    Great reviews- Amazon

Thank you Watchnerd! The Amazon stock photos really don't do this watch justice (as is usually the case). Looks really nice in Insta photos and yes, really nice on a brown leather strap. Also a fan of the 7S26 movement - absolute workhorse. 10+ years easily without even having to think about a service. Don't really care about hacking on an automatic watch that's only going to drift over the course of a day anyway. Great deal - just picked one up. Thanks again!

    • No worries, yes stock photos suck. That's why I usually add a link to a review in the description.
      Don't forget Cashrewards.

  • This is good deal. With Seiko though, what I find personally is that you really get what you pay for.

  • wow that is a cool looking watch - super attractive imo, easy to read, i also really like day and date on a watch

  • -2

That's not a good movement. It's lower than the ubiquitous NH35 movement which you find in many Chinese watches now.

    • +1

7S26 is a great movement! A real workhorse thats in a vast array of watches including the classic SKX007. 10+ year service interval, they take a licking and keep on kicking.

I’ve got an even split of 7S26 and NH35 movements and find the 7S26 actually more accurate in real world use and tough as nails.

  • A watch with a square dial that actually looks good. Sold!

  • the last seiko with a blue dial i bought from amazon was not blue enough - looked black in most light conditions - even in direct sunlight it only had a hint of blue - so i sent it back as i already had a similar black dial seiko

that's the only thing holding me back here - can anyone that has this watch please comment on how blue this dial is?

    am so tempted to buy…

    • +2

Maybe reply to The Vat & ask him/her.

    • +2

It's a fairly dark metallic blue, so much of the face will look dark except for the part reflecting a light source so you'll get this metallic lighter blue reflection across the the dial, much like the photo.

cheers vat - great looking watch for sure - am hoping it sells out soon so i dont have to buy…

        • Hasn't sold out yet. Still $186 + Cashrewards makes it even cheaper haha.

  • Damn I want this watch but Amazon want me to call them to access my account again.

I don't remember the expiry date of the credit card I used years ago :/

Can't they just ask me for my mothers maiden name?
