  • I picked these up on the last LP deal - really happy with the ANC and sound quality.

The ANC is not as good as over ears of course - but very serviceable for general use.

The sound is crisp and clear but lacks options to customize eq like the sennheisers do.

Compared to sennheiser - I had momentum 1 true wireless - the start/stop when in and out of ears is a million times better. The case is a lot bigger but that seems to translate to a charge lasting longer.

Overall I’d recommend at this price point for sure.

The QC earbuds recently got an update that adds EQ functionality, and fixed a bunch of little issues fyi

      • Thank you I’ll check that out

  • Oh no, just picked up the Sony WF1000XM3B for $130 also from the TGG.
Is this worth the extra $70?

    • They are really very good, but I'd say pretty on par with the XM3B's

If you're chasing noise cancelling then these are king.

  • OP beat me to it. I was just about to post this deal. Been keeping my eyes on Bose QC earbuds for months now. Because of the new models Sony & Samsung released, most brands like Jabra and Samsung are dropping prices for their old models to below $200 but Bose QC earbuds never dropped below $295 so this is a real good and rare chance to grab one.

Here are my reasons for choosing this over its major competitors after I borrowed and tried Jabra 75t, Samsung buds pro, and Bose QC earbuds from friends.
    - ANC is on par with (or slightly weaker) Sony WF1000XM3B (according to several youtube reviews)
    - But many have complaint about Sony XM3B not staying in the ears, QC earbuds on the other hand are very secure due to the wingtips. (I tried shaking my heads vigorously)
    - The metal contact of 75t & buds pro made my ears sore & uncomfortable after few hours.
    - Sound quality is one of the best

    Cons:
    - bulky case and bulky earbuds. To be honest I think it looks very stupidly big. It sticks out the ears so much.
    - Usually more expensive than its direct competitors, e.g. SS Buds Pro, Jabra85t or Sony XM3B.

Becuase it's soooooooo comfortable and secure. I decided to choose this and hopefully it will do the trick on an airplane once the travel resumes.

Can someone let me know what these are like compared to AirPods Pro’s?

  • When you're on a call, do these play audio from both earbuds?

The previous model didn't and it was really annoying.

Great deal OP! Have had these since launch (about a year now). I'll offer another point of view of them from my own experiences:

-ANC is the strongest I have ever experienced for in ear and true wireless categories
-It matches or exceeds the ANC performance of Bose and Sony over ear headphones, except for higher frequency sounds (hisses of bus doors closing, upper range of human vocals etc). Haven't tried the Airpods Max
-Sound quality is very balanced and alive with deep and rumbling (but not thumpy) bass. Highs are a bit harsh for me. An EQ for the Bose Music app has just come out so you can adjust this
-Call quality is fine, just not as good as Airpods Pro

However, a few things annoyed me sufficiently to choose the Airpods Pro for general use (I use the QC35 ii when I can):
-They changed the Stayhear tips so these aren't as comfy or secure as all previous Bose earbuds, and I'm not a fan having used the QC20s.
-Bluetooth single point connection, no hot swapping. Pretty annoying
-Can only use a single earbud for calls (forget which one, its the one with the mic)
    -They're big, like really big

I believe they're a great product with best in class ANC and sound quality, just not the "one" for all use cases with its drawbacks.

  • The charging case is too big , not comfortable in my pocket… The left of shark fin earbud is very easy to come out when I take it off from my ear…

  • got mine today from TGG

ANC is approx 8.5/10 compared to Bose700 headphones
it really surprised me as the ANC is really good

compare to the Sony XM3, its like atleast 3 times better

really loving them for $200, its a steal at this price
