    On my card too
But wonder of it's even worth it now, 7/11 chopper is comparatively cheaper
    Where's mathnerd ?

    • +4

Save it now, think about after.

    • +4

Mathnerd isn’t needed but let’s hope he chimes in.

      98 fuel:

      • Local BP: 204.9 (with 20% off, apx 163.9)
      • 7/11: 160.9
      • Around me on NSW FuelCheck, for 91 fuel:

        BP (and 7/11) : 179.9

        Metro / Shell : 159.9

        for 50L tank
        BP: 89.95 - 10 = 79.95
        Metro = 79.95

      • Where do you get the discount 20% from? The offer here is a flat $10.

        • 20% of $50 = $10

      • +2

That's not how it works. You don't get 20% off the fuel price (unless you spend exactly $50).

eg. if you fill a 60L tank it, BP will cost you $122.94 - $10 = $112.94, which is 8% discount.

The maximum discount you can obtain with BP is buying 24.4L, which costs $50, taking away the $10 discount it's $40 for 24.4L

At 7/11, buying the same 24.4L will cost you $39.26.

So for you, you're better off at 7/11 no matter how much you pour.

        • Thanks, much more detailed - I only provided rudimentary advice for me based on maximising discount from BP lol

          You mathnerd-ed, much appreciated.

        • +8

Who doesn’t fill up with $50 exactly for these offers?

        • no good for snobs like me that only use BP 98.

if only BP had a price lock feature on their app :(

  • Didn't get it this time but I did get it in the May offering

    • Same here

      • I just checked the card that didn't get it in the May offering. Got targeted this time!

        • +1

I hope the app isn’t as problematic for you this time

          • +1

@WookieMonster: Haha. It actually kinda worked OK last time! Just need to make sure I'm not at pump #4

  • Thanks. I got the BP one but not the Pet Circle one.

    • I got the Pet Circle one but not the BP :D

      • +1

You always get the one you will not use….guess that is why they focus the offers to get you to change your habits.

  • Nada here.
Still no vogue on supp card.
I preferred the 50 QFF status credits

    • I got them on my Discovery supps but not Ultimate supps.

  • Thanks OP. Got them in all my 4 amex

  • Probably NSW targeted?

    • I'm not in NSW. Nor is ozblogger or bui who also mentioned they got it (according to their profile location).

    • Got it in Melb here - finally they are doing this deal again yay!

  • Got the BP offer on Qantas Ultimate

  • Only on my Plat charge and sub cards

  • Got it on my explorer card.

Does this stack with any qantas points offers? Or any other offers?

  • no BP this time

  • Thank you.

Sorry to other referral people - the referral engine for the pet circle site is crap - I am guessing I just signd up and people missed out. No idea how to make it recognise I was referred, I tried, sorry.

    Hopefully Amex credit applied tho!

  • Got a bunch of hotels offers as well.

  • Does anyone know off hand if using the BUPA code (spend $60 less $20) will this trigger the AMEX (spend $50 less $15) or need to spend $70+?

    • As long as spend is over $50, it will trigger amex.

      Whats the Bupa code

      • Hamza linked it at the bottom of OP.

    • +2

To trigger it, your spend after discounts, so the amount that your Amex is debited for, must be over $50

    • Did the BUPA code work for you? Not working for me..

      • +1

Looks like there is a new code, try these:

For new Pet Circle customers, enter the promo code BUPAPC20M13 at checkout to receive $20 off your first order when you spend $60 or more.

For existing Pet Circle customers, enter promo code BUPAPC10ZX at checkout to receive $10 off orders when you spend $150 or more in a single transaction (only redeemable six times per year).

        • +1

I just tested the new customer $20 off $60 code quickly in incognito and it looks all good in cart:

          Subtotal (3 items):$87.90
          Discount: Multibuy-$13.19
          Discount: Coupon-$20.00
          Shipping Fee*$0.00
          Enter Post Code
          I have a voucher BUPAPC20M13
          Voucher has been applied

          Total: $54.72

Remember to make sure your total is above $50 after any discounts for AmEx credit to trigger.

          • +2

@hamza23: Thanks for the heads up, got some stuff for mum (her dogs) at half price

  • BUPA code working for anyone? no luck on my end even with $75+ worth of stuff in cart.

    • Have you tried the new code? BUPAPC20M13

I haven't tried to buy anything yet.

      • thanks, new code works! :D

  • +1

Good thing it's applicable for multiple transactions too!

Just cancelled my Amex, have to wait another 18 month.

  • +1

First time user of the PBme app so asked the staff at the servo how to use it. They "conveniently" forgot to mention you need to click though and beyond Pay for fuel and unlock the pump BEFORE starting to pump fuel. Ended up paying at the register at 152.9 cents instead what would have been around 123.

    • I tried like 4 months ago. Documentation is lacking.

How they do it its retarded. Will never be back.

    • Same, but was still able to complete the payment via the app inside the store. I did my transaction last week but it didn't trigger an email. Usually the email is triggered immediately for other Amex offers. Anyone else had issues with this offer?

      • I also didn’t get an e-mail as well. I don’t think they’re doing them this time round.

      • No email also, but I see the $10 has been credited to my account this morning. Actually, it says credited a week ago, but definitely wasn't displayed till now. All good in the end but I feel this promo hasn't been executed to their usual standard.

        • Thanks, I will just keep an eye on my account. I have proof of the transaction so it will get done one way or the other.

  • +2

Miss those days we could sign up through manual links even we were not targeted.

  • Can we use it to top up Opal?

    • +1

How are you supposed to top up your Opal card using the BP Me app?

  • Did anyone make a Pet Circle order?

I haven't used my Amex rewards thing in so long, I forgot how to do it.

I added the Pet Circle credit to my Amex - through the link here on the site - saved it to the card.

I made an order at Pet Circle and I've been charged full price.

It's been so long, I can't recall if the credit is applied later or should've been subtracted instantly? Anyone know what the deal is?

    • +3

The credit will be applied later to your AmEx account, it can take some days.

Credit should appear on your billing statement within 5 business days

      • Thanks! I'd forgotten, haven't got much use out of it lately.

      • +1

Yep all good, got little kitty her fancy food sachets for $1.54 each, way better than $2.80 at the store.

  • +4

Used BPme on saturday and and just now Pet Circle. No Amex confirmation email received for either of them.

    • Same with me on the BP one … Did you get the $10 credit in the end?

      • Yes I got the BP, still waiting for the pet circle.

        • ok thanks … that gives me hope :)

          • @jazzymc: Have you got your BP credit yet?

            • @unity1: Nope - not yet - will contact customer support sometime next week

  • spent on Bpme on 3 Nov but not offer not redeemed yet

    any problem?

    • Did you save the offer to your card? Did you use the right card? I redeemed on the 6th and already received my $10 credit.

      • yeah, it shows the transaction record spent on

        BP AUSTRALIA BPME DOCKLANDS

        correct?

        • But did you save the offer to your card?

          • @kerfuffle: yeah yeah definitely

            • @baron33: Then contact Amex and ask where your $10 credit is. As you can see, I redeemed after you did (having saved the offer prior) and haven't had any issues.
