  • Colour Name is Gary. But Pink is lowest price.
    And Amazon reviews are "mixed".

    • 4* is "mixed"?

Gonna be honest, Lighting cables don't last me more than a few months so in my opinion, they are all rubbish anyway. I never have had issues with USB-C. It must be just a horrible technology.

      • Best read some reviews further down about tips snapping.

        • +1

So like your typical cable then. Nothing knew with the POS Lightning design

    • I would like to see what colour is Gary. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ maybe shy away I dont want to be accused of giving Gary a colour. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

      • What's amazon's return policy if it's not Gary colour?
I would hate to receive a different colour, like gray ..

      • Did you just assume my colour?!

  • I've bought these before. Quality is ok. I had an issue with one of the leads having a dodgy connection somewhere, which they solved for me pretty quickly. I wouldn't pay full price for them.

  • These cables just stop working within a month or 2, even showing no physical signs of use.

I think from previous posts, was it established that these are definitely not MFI certified?

  • I bought this Archcea MFI certified 6 pack for $16.87 recently.

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0932JHJX3/ref=ppx_yo_dā€¦

Decent quality and no regrets with purchase.

OP's deal is for 4 cables (granted 2 are extra long), but if you want some back ups in the cupboard, the 6 pack is pretty good value.

    • Thanks UFO

Would you mind posting a picture of the packaging you have received that confirms it is MFI certified

Previous purchasers have failed to spot this in their packaging

      • Don't keep packaging for kicks mate. But invoice clearly states MFI certified if any issues. I do remember it was noted on the box.
Here's a screen grab of invoice.

sorry mate, but MFI certified cables have the MFI labelled on the packaging or on the accessory

To identify counterfeit or uncertified cables and accessories, look carefully at the accessory's packaging and at the accessory itself. Certified third-party accessories have the MFi badge on their packaging

there is a picture here https://imgur.com/gallery/8NA04aR
No where does it say MFI on the packaging

Note that the apple website says look at the packaging/ accessory itself
It does not say look at the invoice

Interestingly the invoice they have given you does not even mention the Model number for the cable

          • @docians: There's 5min of my life I won't get back. Thanks for wasting it needlessly.
I honestly thought you wanted my help, so I posted the info you requested.
Clearly that wasn't the case. I'll remember that.

    OP
what is the model number of the cables in this offer?
could you post a picture of the packaging which has both the model number and MFI certification on the packaging

Asking as users in the past have shared this image of your cables in the past
    https://imgur.com/gallery/8NA04aR

which do not say MFI certified on the packaging

As per Apple, if your cables are MFI certified, as you describe them, it should say so on the packaging/ or on the cables themselves

Also OP please explain how in this image

which is taken from this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/622468

    you said

you have the cable for a month and it works well

Did you like the cables so much that you decided to join the company as a store rep or were you sock puppeting?

this is what I said in response to your comment back in May
