Docking Station Help for Lenovo Yoga

Hi Guys. I'm pretty computer useless now days. I purchased a Lenovo Yoga S730 13.3" for the wife, and I want to get a docking station for it at home. Would run the monitor (just one most likely), keyboard and mouse, and power the laptop. Ideally connections from laptop to dock would be just the one cable.
Can anyone suggest a good way to go? And being OzBargain preferably something not too expensive! I see them pop up occasionally here in deals. Would one of those work? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/654273

Thanks heaps
Mick

if all youre intending to run is the above…. you don't even need a docking station
Run the monitor from the HDMI, get a Logitech kb/mouse that has a unifying receiver

    • Thats the main stuff I'll be running. Occasionally would have other things plugged in as well (headphones and others utilising USB)

Would also preferably like to continue using the Logitech Mouse and KB I have for my PC

  • I use the 'triple display' one from here and have had no issues.

Seems like it will do everything you need and more, or could go for a cheaper one if you are certain you only need one display.

    • Thanks mate. What do you connect between the laptop and the hub? Just a USB c?

      • Yep, just a USB c cable which comes off the hub. I have an extension cable on it because it is fairly short.

  • Should work if usb-c supports the connections.

Mainly writing about my experience with buying a usb-c hub from amazon. Didn't end up working for my requirements and managed to get a full refund. So worth giving it a shot since the customer service is good.
