I wouldn't have thought sex toys weren't allowed on aeroplanes ahaha
my housemate got the cheap and cheerful one from amazon… $40ish? not sure where the additional $360 value lies?

What’s the difference to the cheaper ones that work perfectly fine. Bluetooth?

    • Usually quality and pressure - hard to find what it is for this one but a review suggests its 80lb stall force which put its performance above even the top end theragun pro.

The cheap ones tend to be very loud too!

    • Actually a few other reviews say the hyperlite plus is rated at 45lbs so its lower than the theragun pro (60lb) and more akin to the elite

    • I noticed the travel is far less, theragun has the most

  • Get this or wait for Theragun Elite price to come down?

    • Is it going to happen?

    • I would get this…. Theragun elite doesn't really go down in price… That said, I'm very happy with my theragun G3 that I snagged for about 230$

I was thinking that too. But I know that black friday sales will come soon and last year Theragun Elite dropped to $499. Still not as good as this one. However, Theragun Elite has 16mm amplitude and arguably has a better handle shape. The stall force on the Hypervolt Plus is meant to be better than the Elite by a bit though. I am very torn as I have a knockoff amazon hypervolt clone with 12mm amplitude and it doesn't feel very strong to me. I want the highest stall force and I want the 16mm (for the lowest price) :*(

        • Black Friday is the only hope.

@SickDmith: Aye, but even during the Black Friday sale, I suspect the price of a Theragun Elite will be $499. Really don't know if it's worth $499…

            • @ichigogogo: The way you can look at it - $100 extra for the device you going to like better. :)

@SickDmith: Ah the HyperVolt Plus is sold out anyway.

I'm the same, I'm hoping the Theragun Elite drops this black friday.
The amplitude and stall force are what I'm after.

I've got a knock off hypervolt, it can't smash me deep enough.
I used a hypervolt from a mate, it's good and the stall force was strong (was the plus)

Using the Theragun though, it's superior. I can't stall it, the amplitude makes a huge difference as well as the handle.

          • @GymGigantor: This is exactly what I've been told by my friend who has the Elite. My Hypervolt Amazon knockoff has 30 speeds but a puny stall force. Just not strong enough for any meaningful massage of tougher muscles like the quads, glutes or stiff shoulders. I'm going to give the knockoff to my parents when I get a Theragun during sales. Knock off is powerful enough for old people lol

  • Black Friday sale is on now.
    Same price is on AWS.

Is it better to buy from AWS or from Therabody directly?

Update: same price at David Jones.
